Cool hotel, stylish decor. Bar and restaurant cool Lots of non-hotel guests in the bar, which adds atmosphere

You have to request a daily room clean. Only seem to have beer in small cans, no bottle or draught Bar area while very cool, is quite noisy in the evening Hard to get a table at the restaurant as a hotel guest because its packed with non-hotel guests

We didn’t get to spend much time at the hotel as we had breakfast plans elsewhere. The lobby is beautiful, other patrons were very friendly, we knew about Lazybird and really wanted to go but were so tired by the time we got in. The room had everything you’d expect and was very clean. There were a few antiques to add to the atmosphere. We will definitely be back to celebrate anniversaries in the future!!

The Hoxton is one of my GO TO hotels when staying in Chicago and always has a great "Vibe." I absolutely love the lobby/restaurant area, especially when it is decorate for the holidays. So Cozy! Breakfast is always delicious at Cira and with healthy options too.

Rooms are a little tight, but are very manageable, and well appointed. No work area either, but that is made up for by the lounge areas in the lobby where I love to work.

We stayed at The Hoxton Chicago for 4 nights for our first trip to Chicago. Great hotel with many facilities. Very good location in Fulton Market / West Loop area with many restaurants, bars and shops around. Easy to jump on the L train to go downtown / lake area etc etc. Restaurant and bar in the hotel are also very nice

Breakfast at Circe was wonderful. The location was great.

The bed was mushy and there was not a spot to open two suitcases. We put our tag on the door for the room to be cleaned and returned to a room not cleaned at the end of the day. We had to tell the front desk the following day and that worked. Our room was cleaned.

Wonderful atmosphere in the lobby/restaurant area, super staff - were really going out of their way to help me find a room with a superb view, room service on demand (Covid-related?) was actually a pleasant concept (plus environmentally friendly), option to rent out a bike was very nice (though I probably was one of the only guests to do so), top location with nice neighborhood and many food and drink options, yet still close to the loop (Morgan station nearby)

this has probably been mentioned before and the front desk also reminded me explicitly of potential noise from the nearby green/pink line tracks, so if you’re a light sleeper…

Excellent location, great restaurants and bars on site. Busy and social in communal areas, but quiet in the room. Excellent food at both restaurants. Great DJs and band in the speak easy. It's always busy and vibey.. Great decor. Comfortable room, great view.

Would have been great to be able to book restaurants via reception rather than have to do direct. Would have been great to have some preferential restaurant booking options as a hotel guest.

Great location

A lot of staff often did not make eye contact or greet to say hello. There were a few gentlemen who often stood near Cira and would say hello. Front desk and valet staff often did not say hello which can present as unwelcoming.

there were several technical issues in my room - phone didn’t work (and wasn’t resolved) / sink stopper wouldn’t lift up (and was swiftly resolved) / tv channels didn’t work reliably. all issues outweighed by the multitude of positives but needed to be mentioned.

Location

The AC unit was right next to the bed. And it ran constantly. I had to buy ear plugs to fall asleep. There was no top sheet. The duvet was to hot. We requested a top sheet for the second night and slept well.
