I wasn't expecting a man sharing the room. Booking didn't show it on the website. I liked the room, bed.

The rain in the bathtub was clogged, but they fixed it. A shared room with a man. Was to late to change my mind. A old man following me with a weapon in a bag. I hid as he pulled it out

Great location, super easy to move around, and safe to do so. The staff was super nice and helpful, same for the cleaning crew. Everything was well kept in the hostel. The room was comfortable, even though It was shared, the bathroom was quite spacious. The bed had curtains to have more privacy and a small cabinet for storage, that can close with a padlock (bring yours).

Kitchen. Pretty small in comparison with the rest of the hostel, and not quite well kept. The sink was out of order, so you couldn't clean your dishes or utensils on it. But they have a fridge, a microwave, and an ice machine.

The location was perfect, bed was so comfortable and a kitchen available if needed.

Advertised as a city view and one view but was a view of an air con unit on the 3rd floor. Shouldn’t be advertised as this if it isn’t a room with a view.

i like the location the most it was by everything and only needed to get a lyft one time not counting the ride to the hotel and airport. the staff was very friendly and quiet location.

it was just small things like the base boards were dirty and there was a funny smell in hallway but not in room

The bed was super comfortable and the hotel is perfect if you wanna do the very "touristy" things in Chicago (Mag Mile, Bus Tours, Navy Pier, John Hancock Tower). It's not a con, but the hotel is an old building so it's not that really modern feeling on the inside, but I think that's part of the charm of staying in a hotel that's in an older building. The staff were always friendly in my interactions with them, and the common room on the main floor is a really nice place to do work or wait for your Uber. It felt like you had an option to hang out in, in case you had a flight that was later than check out.

My room, for whatever reason, was noisy in that I could hear water moving thru the pipes constantly and it sounded like there was a bathroom fan on all the time except there was no way for me to shut it off. But it eventually turned into white noise to me.

Wonderful location right off Michigan Avenue - close to everything but on a quiet side road. Loved the retro/vintage decor.

No TV in our room. Didn't realize that when I booked. Hotel lobby and rooms were very warm. Turned off heat in my room.

I was pleasantly surprised, I love the location and the surrounding neighborhood. I enjoyed not sharing the quad with a full house lol, instead just one other person for the duration and I love that our schedules had us out of each others way.

The main issue was the one elevator in operation, outside of that I can't complain! (Okay, I wish there were more hangers as well, but it didn't matter in the long run lol)

Very nice and friendly staff, the location was perfect, very good price, the distribution of the rooms was very good. I found very convenient that it is open 24 hours, clients can arrived any time. The cleaning lady was very helpful too.

At first I made the reservation without noticing that it was for a 4-bed room. When I arrived I got surprised but everything went good. The first day I shared with 3 very nice girls and the second day with 2 very young guys. I would like if they had only women rooms. I think you can improve the kitchen, and may think to have a coffee shop o restaurant.

Besides the location I highly recommend people to check out the 2nd floor common area. I love the decoration and style of it, the coziness, as well as the experience of hostel style inside a boutique hotel. You can use all the common facilities, it's the whole floor. There are cinema, meeting/work room, pool table with a large lounge area, a little kitchen with ice maker and freezer and other things... so convenient to just pour a drink and hangout with friends. Loved the gym too. It's small but has a great set up with good brand/new equipment for you to do any basic routine. Better than many other big hotels' gym I have been to, everything was neat and useful.

Everyone says the bathroom is dated, I agree. The AC in my room keeps a running water noise 24/7, which is not bad tho. Some people prefer white noise for sleeping, and for me I imagined I was camping by a river in the woods.
