Location was wonderful. Suite was amazing, especially if you're able to use the kitchen. Breakfast was good. I truly appreciated that the scrambled eggs weren't undercooked, as they often are in Breakfast buffets.

I travel a great deal and occasionally run into a hotel whose bedding/pillows affect my eyes. this is one of them. The pillows and bed were very comfortable, but my eyes were terribly swollen every morning. I don't know if it's the stuffing or what they were washed in, but it took a lot of cold compresses each morning before I could go out. I got an eye mask for the last night and it was better. otherwise, great stay.

Great location with walking distance to water tower and N Michigan Ave. room is small but very clean and cozy. It has a full size refrigerator, microwave, plates glass and dishes inside the room. A king bed and a couch bed which is kind of hard But overall location to N Michigan Ave and River walk beats all the negatives Lake share park with tennis courts free to public was a big plus.

Small size of Room but it is downtown Chicago and one should expect it. Lobby computers are complimentary for 20 mins But there is no printer. You have to request the staff. Car Valet persons are always slow and hard to find during my 2 night stay. There are no vending machines but you can buy sodas in Lobby and get ice only in lobby.

Excellent for family with teenagers with the kitchenette and separate bedrooms. Staff were all very helpful and friendly.

The bathroom was a bit tight. The grab breakfast was underwhelming but the woman at reception indicated that the continental breakfast is coming back.

Excellent location. Safe!!!fully staffed front desk. Everyone every single person who works there -there professionalism could be at 5 star hotel. Ive stayed almost every hotel in Chicago five star etc, had horrible people running “4” hotels. Safest street -Walton is one way in. I think they have soundproof windows. close to food market, northwestern hospital great breakfast. They have a gem of location. rooms full fridge extraordinary hidden gem. Either you live here and know or you stumble on it. Brfs could use update more comfortable mattress that’s on corporate. Also travel all major big cities. This is an extraordinary gem. Walton street is probably most exclusive street in. it’s. can see lake from some rooms. staff makes hotel from cleaning desk valet. pay accordingly corporate don’t lose them! maybe take a tour of how other 4 star hotels have working and your staff makes your hotel pay them their value and Es Sonnesta can make corporate a lot… have staff turnover ES Sonnesta can’t be the gem it is. also corporate may want to know as life long resident of Chicago 4 cab drivers didn’t know the name I believe it was Marriot? Fabulous price especially as many people going thru heartbreaking treatment stay extended. Fridge and stove top key. longer they stay at 100 a night the more for corporate. Half the million supposed new high rise hotels are practically empty huge things therefore third party sites. ES Sonnesta was packed and no nonsense use hotel to book. Love love love going back a month!!!

mattresses!!! update and you have it all down! and softer linens like that new polyester cheap feels better than 1000 cotton and a bit of color on bed throw blanket. god I’d invest.

No food quanity on second day of breakfast...no bagels ..no bananas..lok

Very spacious room with separate lounge with pull out bed.. very comfortable too. Ideal for 3 adults. Good size fridge and kitchenette. Lovely soft towels and luxurious bedding. Breakfast included. Lots of hot water and coffee provided all day.

Tables not wiped for breakfast and too much single use plastic at breakfast. Hotel must have a mountain of waste every day which will still be around in 100 years . I’m m sure it’s not recycled!

The proximity to the Magnificent Mile was good, the helpfulness of front desk staff was great, the rooms were spacious and well equipped, and we appreciated night manager Marcus for his demeanor and helpfulness.

The breakfast staff were unwilling to allow for my brother to grab a few items for his children just before breakfast ended. That was less than ideal, considering we had driven 13 hours the day before and were exhausted.

I really like the location of this hotel. It is just a short walk to Michigan Ave and all the shopping. Great breakfast place just down the road and getting in and out is super simple. This is our go to hotel in Chicago. The price is very fair for the location

There are no rooms with good views, and valet is not good. They do not offer any additional service in valet so literally all they do is bring you your car and are in no rush to get it done.

The hotel was cozy and clean. Staff members were pleasant and helpful with information for surroundings, public transportation, and hotel accommodations. Good location for shopping and site seeing. The room came with a fully functional kitchen and included cookware and dishes. I would stay again.

This is a pet-friendly hotel. You may wake up early morning to the lovely sound of a barking dog, while his owners are downstairs at breakfast. Don‘t know if I want this during MY vacation. Don‘t let me think about pets and carpet in all rooms…
