Hampton Inn Sturbridge

It was super clean. One elevator only to the 3rd floor. Beds hard. Noisy people slamming doors, kids running. This is typical of a hotel like this. People are so inconsiderate. The highway noise at the back of the building was far too loud all night. Food is typical but good-need to make dairy free eggs-had cheese in them. At check in make sure you ask for receipt. They charged $20 plus extra and then you hope to get it back. Booking says this price is guaranteed-no it is not! When we called the lady said that we should get 17-18$ back and not even the $20. We always leave a room as good as we found it. This is an insult.

Asked for a wake up call for Saturday but we never got it and missed a Memorial Service. Toilet is way to short for tall people and handicapped. Not enough carts for loading and unloading our things. Why do you have 3 of the same pictures on the walls in same room? 2 walls looked like someone forgot to completely paint the room. Sorry, we have contractors in the family

It was a bit noisy at night and the rug didn’t seem very clean

Awesome staff, great amenities. Had some construction going on but never heard anything so no complaints there. The rooms were immaculate and modern. Very pleased with my stay

Walls are thin, and beds are a bit loud. You may hear quite a bit but that’s a hotel for you

Breakfast was good except they did not change coffe/hot water often enough so it was cold and no one offered to change it when asked. A microwave in the breakfast area would have been perfect

Breakfast was great. The beautiful lady in the kitchen did an amazing job keeping everything clean and stocked up. Was very polite & social.

I didn’t like the paint peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom cause I have a little one but overall it was a good time .

If I could take vegetables more, it must be good!!

My best friend and I have 6 kids together. My kids are her good kids and her kids are my godkids. They range from 1 to 10 and have all grown up together. As a family staycation we come here and stay for 2 to 4 nights. We go mainly for the kids to go swimming. The pool is perfect since it has a shallow end and deeper end. So the younger ones can still touch and have a blast while the older ones can run and jump as they like. Also since the younger ones can touch we adults can also enjoy it. Since we don’t have to carry the smaller ones the whole time in the pool. We get 2 rooms that are conjoint. We get a king room with sofa bed and a double queen room. This way we leave the connection doors wide open during the day to make it feel like one big room. Giving us lots of space for us adults and 6 kids. Plus 2 bathrooms, that are very much needed with 6 kids. Most times more then one needs to go at the same time. Plus this helps after you come up from the pool. So we can get all of them rinsed off and washed up before settling down for the night. The other plus that we love is since we do have 3 younger ones who need naps and 3 older ones who don’t. Is we can put the baby and 2 toddlers down for a nap in one room with all the lights off and curtains closed. Then go into the other room with the older ones and leave the door that separates the 2 rooms slightly open so that we can hear and peek on them while they nap. This lets the older ones still get to play and enjoy things while still giving the little ones a good restful nap. Then at night after all the kids are asleep us moms can sit and relax and have our time to enjoy catching up without any kids on top of us. Then once we are ready for bed we close the center door so of one family wakes up sooner then the other it doesn’t wake the others up. Once we are both up we simple open the door back up and enjoy our time again. This hotel is also close to many restaurants and stores.

The only sad part is due to the pandemic and not the fault of the hotel at all. That that they don’t have their free breakfast buffet as of right now due to covid protocols. That was always a favorite part for us. The food was sooooo good. The kids loved making their own Belgium waffles with chocolate chips! It also was did a big plus for us and helped save money so we could afford to stay another night or 2. They do still offer a grab bag breakfast but it’s just a pre wrap store bought muffin and some fruit. The staff is very nice and very helpful.

good location. Good to see renovations were taking place. Breakfast bar was good.

Would have been nice to have known beforehand that renovations were going on. Our room was surrounded by construction.
