Holiday Inn Express Worcester, an IHG Hotel

Very friendly staff. King room was large, good bed, good desk, nice to have the small fridge. No in-room safe unfortunately and the bathroom works well but it's a little tired. Only had the breakfast once and it has all that's needed, but nothing special. There's a Starbucks next door. Location is good - right off the highway and walking distance to the convention center, but only a few restaurants nearby. Huge parking lot.

Need in-room safes. Need to update bathrooms. Noise level was a problem even though my fellow guests weren't rowdy or out of control. It's just that a normal level of noise traveled through the door easily.

The room was a standard size with 2 queen beds. We liked the raised flat screen TV which did not take up a lot of space on the top of the dresser. Drawers were nice & big. Bathroom was clean. Plenty of hot water for showers. Breakfast was good.

Rm. 408 was our 2nd room! Our 1st room - the TV did not work. In this room, the Air Conditioner was SO LOUD - it was almost unbearable. We had to keep switching from being hot to turning it on & keep waking up. NOT GOOD! The small refrigerator worked so-so. Did not keep our waters chilled evenly. There was NO PHONE in our room, so we could not call the Front Desk.

All staff were friendly and helpful Staff brought toilet paper very quick when we requested along with towels Good location Size of room was decent Pillows were comfy

Breakfast was pretty empty when we arrived about 7:45am, we were there for a big event so understandable but more variety would have been better such as toast or English muffin. The luggage carts were VERY difficult to maneuver and it took up a lot of time trying to move. The cleaning staff were holding up both elevators trying to clean, so the wait for elevator was very long and we couldn’t use stairs because we had luggage cart. Room was very stuffy even with the ac on.

I kept reading the reviews and was a bit nervous as to what we would find when we got to the hotel. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean. There could be some cosmetic updates done to the bathrooms but they were fine. The beds were very very comfortable, The staff was very helpful. The location was great for the event at the DCU Center (walking distance) as well as restaurants in the downtown area.

Room was very comfortable and I was happy to see east chairs so you could relax comfortably instead of on the bed. Room was clean and larger than I expected so didn’t feel cramped. Overall excellent stay.

Bathroom was small but ok for a short stay. Prefer fresh cream at breakfast instead of those small prepackaged creamers. They don’t enhance the coffee whatsoever.

god this place was a mess! rude front desk lady! the air conditioner was sooo loud kept me up all night the tv wasn’t working the bed literally felt like I was sleeping in a wooden board and metal coils no cushion at all location is amazing but too many things were bad

The food was pretty decent. Food was the proper temperature. The children absolutely loved the pancake machine.

There could have been a variety of hot foods instead of just omelettes and sausage. Maybe some regular scrambled eggs, home fries, bacon.

The floor we stayed on had a lot of late night traffic, people going in and out of rooms, talking in the halls until after midnight. It was after a concert at the DCU center though.

location was great, staff was good, room was comfortable.

cleanliness could have been better. entire lobby floor was dirty, hallway floor needed vacuum, bathroom toilet and sink could’ve been cleaned better. (hairs).
