We left Mackinaw City for home, but wanted to stop in Gaylord for the night just because. I made the reservation on the road, got confirmed and was in our room 1/2 hour later. Other than stopping last year to see the Elk Park, I had never really seen much of Gaylord. It was a busy little town, with restaurants and parks and shopping and things to do all contained in just a few miles. The hotel was lovely, updated, clean, the staff was friendly & check-in was a breeze. They offered a full breakfast and the price of the room blew me away...$93!! That NEVER happens. Thank you for a lovely visit. We WILL be back next year for a longer stay.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Breakfast on week days includes hot and continental type. Coffee machine makes good coffee. Juice of types are available. Bed comfortable. Pillows great. Can warm or cool room too desired temperature. Pool is warm and nice.

Outdoor Key entries need to be replaced. Hard to get into the building and often need to go back to entrance. Outdoor Key entries are not reliable.

Great value, very decent hotel. Breakfast had lots of choices & they refilled it several times with fresh stuff, the pool was nearly as good as a hot tub. Would definitely use again & recommend. It was only 10 minutes from Treetops, which was our destination.

Only two nights, so no housekeeping. We didn't run out of anything, but it would have been nice to have garbage emptied, & shampoo replenished. However, they told us if we needed anything, to just ask. ❤️

room was "roomy" and comfortable - breakfast was not just a "continental" breakfast :) The lady at the front desk when we checked in was very helpful in giving us suggestions for local restaurants! We did go to one that she recommended (El Patron) and we loved it! We appreciate her feedback!

everything was ok - we didn't have time to use the pool but look forward to it next time we visit!

I felt very comfortable here, the room was very clean the bathroom was spotless. Was a very busy day lots going on! I 100% would use this hotel again.

The morning breakfast Was over at 9:00. I got there at 9:03 and was not allowed in even for juice. The breakfast cook was not very warm in her NO. Lol. I get it I am not trying to be entitled, but geesh smile every once in awhile.

The room was nice size, it did look a lot of repairs had been done but you could definitely tell where the repairs were made. The AC worked well. There was a refrigerator of nice size. and microwave. All other workers, other than the lady who checked us out, were very nice and professional.

The ceiling in the bathroom looked to have water droplet stains. and The smell of the room I think it was the cleaner or The AC unit. did not smell to good. The lady who checked me out and was helping with breakfast was not very friendly. She did not look or act very professional.

Staff is always fantastic when we stay. Rooms are always clean.

Breakfast was a little disappointing, when I came at 730 there wasnt a lot of hot food left in the warmers. The complimentary toiletries are always great, but the packages are a little hard to open when your hands are wet. Parking is a little hard to find a space though, but I don't know if thats a bad thing because it just means your busy and people like staying at the hotel.

Comfortable bed, comfortable room. Liked the updates. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Liked the location.

Bathroom a little small. Sink/vanity seemed to be leaning, like it was starting to detach from the wall. Breakfast was lukewarm. The people above us were VERY loud, but after a call from management, all was quiet.

Pool needs a redue I know this is on the list to do this spring I hope they do a great job The water drinking, pool, shower it was not good smelled bad tasted bad

Room was clean and large enough for 2 people.

They had many problems with key cards not working, I had to have mine rekeyed 5 times during 3 day stay. They said they were getting a new system but that didn't help me or other visitors having the same problem.
