I thought I seen most of Gaylord, wrong. The view is worth the stay. Never in my dreams could I have expected how nice of a place I have drove by a100 times. What a hidden gem. The only flaw I saw was that they need new sidewalks. But I understand the new owners had there hands full restoring this place. Baby steps, I will never stay anywhere else when I need a room. Thanks.

The room was huge! The beds were comfortable. The views were absolutely gorgeous! Staff was super pleasant. There was a little fire pit area outside of our lodge that was very welcoming. The pool was closed by the time we arrived at 1030pm but it looked very inviting.

Walking around the property it was a little sad to see an older cabin that was in disrepair. I would love to see it restored. Some stone was missing in the entry of the front desk building.

We love the grounds and nostalgic feel of Otsego! this was our 2nd annual family trip and my 2 sisters come from out of state. Also the service in the round room for my dad’s retirement party was top notch. At first I was worried about the menu change but everything was delicious!

That I can’t play only 9 holes at the one course lol because time doesn’t allow it, I’ve only played the other course so far.

We arrived late because we enjoyed the alpenfest, the receptionist was nearly leaving but arranged some enveloppe with the keys for us. The rooms were clean and the beds super comfy, the spot was also pretty cool

The fan in the toilets was a little loud, but nothing too bad. The resort would need a little paint and renovation here and there

The rooms are spacious and clean, nice comfy beds. Great location to everything.

The building we stayed in had non stop marijuana smokers outside and cigarette smokers inside the building. I think they were working and staying there.

One of my favorite places on the planet! I've been coming here since the 70s when I was a kid and my grandfather was a member when it was a private club - so excited that they are restoring it to it's original splendor :-)

Beautiful location, friendly helpful staff, AWESOME room style (we got the loft room with 4 twin beds, it was SO fun). Way better than any other hotel in Gaylord.

Our key cards wouldn't open the pool, there were masterlocks on it and we couldn't figure out why. There were other people inside the pool who didn't want to help us (other guests) and we didn't want to drive to the office to ask staff. We just skipped the pool altogether and went and jumped in a nearby lake instead.

Great location. It was nice to be in a lodge environment and be able to walk right outside. The grounds were well kept and beautiful.

You pay for your full stay when you arrive. The front desk person ran my card three times and it put an alert on my card. Had to call the bank and get it straightened out. The outside of the buildings need some love. They’re old and paint was peeling off. Ice machine was completely empty today. Maybe they clean them on Sunday???

The front desk building was closed when we arrived at 10:00 pm. on a Tuesday night. Luckily one of the staff was in the parking lot and asked us if we needed help. They brought a clerk in from home to help us get into a room. They were amazingly accommodating, friendly, and apologetic. They turned an almost dreadful experience into a pleasurable one. Great customer service; very clean and comfortable room; beautiful property; and quaint wooden buildings.

Gaylord version of a generational ski/golf resort, picturesque views, with quaint Lodges. Clean, no pet allowed room!

Exteriors are in bad need of repairs and sprucing up. Rooms could use a microwave too.
