Microtel Inn and Suites - Inver Grove Heights

Easy access from highway, close to shopping centers. Oversize parking lot, nice because I was here for a car show and was able to park away from the busy part. Friendly staff. Ice, vending, and laundry if needed. Room smelled clean and practically everything was clean, even the shower curtain was tied back to keep fresh air circulating. Everything worked, including hot water on a busy morning. Good cable TV package. Remote wrapped in plastic to help keep clean. Nice binder of hotel info. Breakfast was good. Full drapes closed with no gaps. Small room but super cozy and great lighting choices, didn’t need to be any bigger.

Only reason I didn’t give 100% on clean, was there were large cobwebs under the stands, which I only discovered when looking for a dropped pill bottle. Other than that, everything was topnotch, I was actually quite impressed.

The location was perfect for me. Usually stay at the Holiday Inn Express next door but thought I would give this a try since it was significantly more cost effective. Was not disappointed. A little crowded in the small rooms but very functional. Bed and linens were great! Very friendly helpful desk staff.

Couldn't really complain about anything. Such a good value. More than two people in a room would be crowded. The bathroom had some issues, i.e. cracked floor tile, tub in poor condition however looked like they tried to correct.

nice room did smell a little of dog when we arrived but left window open and it cleared. good variety choices for breakfast but too many sweet things. very friendly and welcoming staff. walking distance to a few food options.

not very well lit and the tv being on top of wardrobe was a bit uncomfortable to watch. need spray and smaller cups for waffle maker to avoid overflowing

I appreciated getting the towels replaced every single day. I also appreciate how housekeeping changed out our bedding upon request (we stayed 5 nights). It was a great location to St. Paul and the surrounding suburbs. I was surprised about the hot breakfast items!

The bed and pillows were not very comfortable. Breakfast was the same every day (5 nights makes it a little rough, but to be the same for 2-3 days would've been okay).

AMC movie theater behind hotel, Outback Steak House, Convenient Store, and Apple BeeS walking distance .. 10 minutes from Walmart and about 20 min from Mall of America.. Friendly Staff … Room was clean .. Hot breakfast

Like most Wyndham hotels need updates.. carpet, beds, and lighting in the room

The staffs were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean (hand sanitizer was provided), there were quite a lot of options for breakfast, the lobby and dining area are clean and well maintained, there are coffee and tea available 24/7 for guests in the lobby, and location is close to St Paul without all the busy traffic.

The bathroom wall was slightly thin.

Booking com had a data breach that they didn't fix & hackers were able to get my cc info, email, and address. I hate that booking.com stored my cc info AND didn't fix their data breach, causing my card to be charged for $2400 after my stay.

Breakfast was great! Juice offered later into the brunch hours. The man at the front desk was beyond great.

One of my clients checked out and left gifts still in bags in their room. I went to get them before my Checkout and they where gone. House keeping saying they put everything from the room in the trash. But I didn't see them in the trash bag outside of the room. Not ok. Gifts in custom gift bags should have been taken to lost and found. It was $275 worth of gifts.

The staff were very nice and they have an excellent breakfast with plenty of options every day. Maid staff did an excellent job.

Carpeting was stained in some places

Everything...we stay here because its always clean...the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is wonderful...scrambles eggs sausage, French toast, waffles, donuts, cereal, biscuits and gravy...fresh fruit a great assortment....also wonderful coffee..plus plenty of room to sit and enjoy your breakfast.. We couldnt ask for a better place to stay Easy to get to and close to our kids
