Staff is welcoming and attentive. We've been here often, so it feels like we're almost visiting family. They go above and beyond other hotels to make us feel welcome. Love the hot breakfast! So many oatmeal toppings! Is there nonstick spray for the waffles? If so, I didn't see it. Also, love the little store by the front desk to get those things we forgot. On-site laundry room was a blessing. Location is perfect if you are going to the Mayo clinic facilities. Oh, and Olive Garden and Dennys are right next door! 10 ⭐ !!!!

Room was a little chilly, but probably our fault for not understanding the climate controls. I like it cooler for sleeping anyway, but my husband is from Mississippi, and he always asks for extra blankets. Staff is prompt and willing to provide them.

It was very clean. I loved that the breakfast was available at such a wide range of times, from 5:30-9:30 which accommodated my Mayo appt times. The shuttle to the Mayo was great.

If there was anything to complain about, it would be that there was no hot tub in the pool area. And maybe the breakfast food could use some updating. The cheese egg omelets are a great idea, but the cheese whiz for the filling was not great.

This is our 3rd stay at this facility. It is the friendliest hotel we have ever stayed at & we travel a ton. The front desk staff are amazing. The room is always clean & is really pretty. I love that there is a huge couch in the room to watch TV & a desk in which to work. There's even a great space in the lobby to do work, if needed.

The evening desk attendant was extremely helpful. We weren't in the location that we expected, and he helped us get to the right one (across from St Mary's). He worked with booking.com to move the next night's reservation. And he provided disability appliances (shower chair and grab bars) for the room--all with a smile.

The advertisement said Rochester/St Mary's (hospital). It was misleading to advertise being by St Mary's--there are two Mariotts that are closer than this one.

The staff is super friendly. It is very quiet except for the traffic, which I find relaxing. There was a whole group of teenagers there & I never heard a peep.

I wish there was a chair to lounge in. There was only the desk chair & a stool, which were not comfy to relax in. The breakfast is also pretty terrible. There also needs to be more lighting in the bathroom. I could not see very well to put on makeup.

So clean, and the beds are so comfortable; especially the pillows. The breakfast has everything you could want. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The high ceilings on the 1st and 2nd floors make the rooms feel so much bigger. Also appreciated the wide variety of items for sale near the front desk. And having a laundry available in-house is convenient.

An expanded parking lot would be nice. The first night we couldn't find an empty spot after we went out to dinner.

The breakfast was early enough for people leaving for early Mayo appts like myself. It had a good variety of cold and hot options. The room was very clean and the bed is extremely comfortable. Housekeeping was amazing - they made the bed and spread out my blanket and kids stuffie they packed for me like I was at home. It was sweet. Reception employees were very friendly and helpful.

The pool is tiny.

This is perfect place to stay for anyone needing medical appts at Mayo. The shuttle comes right to hotel from Mayo and is very puntual. The room was very comfortable and next door to places to eat dinner. The breakfast at hotel offers a nice variety and the coffee is always hot.

Nothing I did not like

Fairfield Inn and Suites was super clean, bed really very comfortable, with lovely linens and pillows (a must for me!) and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating! Plus, a great choice for breakfast in the morning for free! Price was amazing for what I got!

could use more cream and sugar in the room. However, they had coffee and supplies in the lobby 24/7 which made up for it!

The breakfast was adequate. We really appreciated the long hours for breakfast. The coffee was very good!

We didn’t like the shared shuttle. Previously we had stayed at a hotel that had their own service which was wonderful and quick. Sharing with a number of other hotels limits the available times and transport.
