Nice rooms, sweet pool, excellent bar, and thw free breakfast had lots of options.

I checked in online, with a check-in time. First, I was given a king room, which I didn't book as I needed 2 queens and a pullout couch for 3 adults and 2 kid's. Housekeeping was behind, and since this hotel is close to the Mayo clinics and hospitals, there was a medical emergency. The assistant CO let me wait in the bar, and compt my drinks until the correct room was ready.

I loved my stay at this hotel. It is a smaller, newer hotel. My room was very comfortable, clean and stylish. The breakfast they provided was good. They provided several choices to meet most dietary needs.

The only downside was parking and the location. They have more rooms and potential guests than the parking ramp can accommodate. By the time I checked in the front desk staff said it was unlikely I would find a parking spot in the ramp so I didn't even try. I was able to park on the street at a meter which was not being enforced at the time of my stay so I didn't have to pay for it, but that might not always be the case. As for the location, I was hoping it was close enough to the Mayo Civic Center that I could walk and indeed I could have, but I didn't feel comfortable. The hotel is a little bit on the outskirts of the downtown area and there was not as much foot traffic as I would have liked to feel safe.

Had a large, clean, modern, bright room with a comfortable bed. There was also a sofa and a desk. Appreciated the small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in the room. Was an easy 10 minute walk to downtown. The free, self-serve breakfast included basics and was a nice added bonus. Polite staff was on hand to do refills.

There was a modern flat-screen TV in the room, but it was quirky. It would keep going off periodically during a program and reboot itself. When it came back on, it was on a different channel.

Nice new facility... close to Mayo (although not connected via tunnels or skyways)

The place was nice, the staff friendly and efficient, and the location was OK as that aspect relates to proximity to Mayo Clinic facilities. BUT - there are train tracks that run RIGHT along side the hotel, and trains that go by have to blown their horns several times within a block of the hotel as they pass by - even in the dead of night. It's REALLY loud when they do that. It didn't happen often, but . . .

I will never book with booking.com ever again. Not only were we way overcharged for a room but we were unable to change our reservation through booking.com.. The app would not allow us to check out a day earlier and booking was impossible to get a live person to allow us to check out a day early, even though I paid extra through booking to be able to change my dates if I needed to. The hotel was amazing and by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. We have already booked for next year and I will NEVER use this site again. It rips people off.

Breakfast offered a good variety - I wish they had a sweet pastry option, like a muffin. Friendly and helpful staff. Love the layout of the suite and that the TV offers Chromecast. Ended up on the first floor but outside of the occasional train going by, it is pretty quiet.

Didn't realize my kitchenette would have a mini-fridge - I could have used something a little bigger. It would be nice if they offered coffee and hot water all day, not just in the morning. Annoyingly long journey to the ice machines, which are only available on the 4th and 6th floors and not close to the elevators.

Great price originally, anyway, but when we had an issue with the toilet in our room, we were upgraded to a room with a kitchen, so it was an exceptional deal! Great location (wood fired pizza across the street is delicious, and it's within walking distance to Charleton, Gonda, and Mayo buildings). Parking is easy!

Breakfast was supposed to be until 9 a.m. We showed up around 8:40 a.m., and there was hardly anything there. We ended up not eating. That was a bit disappointing.

great location. very accommodating. clean and comfortable rooms. I stayed in the wheelchair accessible room and it was really very comfortable. I needed a shower chair and the staff arranged for it within just 5 minutes.

I would have liked if the hotel provided guests with drinking water as a part of the stay. breakfast timings could be extended a bit on weekdays.

Good location, easy to find when driving in. The hotel was clean and we'll maintained. I often saw janitorial staff cleaning common areas throughout the day. Very close to the Mayo Methodist Hospital, several more blocks to the other hospital buildigs. There's a cute park with a Victorian house museum right next door. Attached garage parking was very convenient, would be a must-have in Minnesota winters.

Their shuttle service for Mayo hospital system only ran once an hour and ended before 5pm. Another hotel across town had a constantly running (free) service for not only Mayo but grocery and entertainment rides as well. It is literally next to train tracks. This didn't keep us up at night because we were so tired, however, the train horns were very loud when we did hear them.

They accommodated my accessibility needs even though the room I was supposed to stay in was unavailable due to a stay extension.
