This was a very nice stay. The staff were all very friendly and accomodating and the room was promptly cleaned the next day with fresh linen left as we asked. The rooms & beds are very clean and comfortable and we had a great couple nights sleep after all day out with the grandkids. The pool was open which was great for the kids. And finally the breakfast here is top notch compared to some places we have stayed. All hot food and very very good. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Was nothing we didn't like

I used this hotel as a night layover for an early morning flight. I chose it due to the free shuttle to the airport and it ran 24 hours a day. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was very, very friendly.

As I was there only for a few hours, there was not much to dislike. They were changing company names from Hampton Inn to Wingate. As of now, there is no Hampton Inn near the St. Louis airport. There was some construction going on, but it was well kept and not interfered with my stay.

The rooms were clean, and the front desk staff were all very friendly. The bathroom appeared to have gone through a renovation in the past couple years, but there was nowhere to hang hand towel. The beds were clean and there were both softer/flatter pillows and denser pillows to pick from. The WiFi worked well in the room, there was a mini fridge and a microwave in the TV console. The breakfast had several choices. There was a waffle station, packaged muffins, a toaster with bakery items, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, milk and cereal and a selection of juices. The coffee labeled light roast was def. very dark roast, but diluted in milk it was fine.

The AC unit was loud, but we were able to turn it off using the thermostat on the wall to get sleep. The toilet seat wasn't a soft close seat and banged loudly. The rest of the bathroom looked like it had some cosmetic upgrades, I wish they updated the toilet seat too. I thought soft-close toilets have been an industry standard for at least the past 5 yrs. As it commonly is, the walls are fairly thin and we were woken up by a next door guest knocking on their door at midnight. And in the morning, I could hear ppl waking up and moving about upstairs. Not the worst and expected at most hotels.

Staff was very helpful. Gave me a phone number to all to be picked up at my rental car drop off location which was too far away to walk. Otherwise would have had to ride the rental shuttle back to airport and then wait for Hampton Inn shuttle to pick me up.

Air conditioning turned down too cold everywhere in the facility. Turned AC off in my room when I arrived and it was still cold in the room the next morning as I was leaving.

We were holding a family reunion, and all the staff were most accommodating and helpful. As promised, we could gather in the breakfast area Friday evening for pizza and beverages and wait for others to arrive. Arranging for late arrival of one party was easy. For some reason I could not connect to the wifi, but the desk person on duty Saturday morning gave me the promo code, and the problem was fixed at once. Both the offerings and the running of the breakfast were excellent. Thanks to all for helping to make our reunion a success.

We realize the need for most of the parking to be gated, but the positioning of the scanners is frustrating. Unless one wants to risk scraping one's car against them, it is an extremely long reach. The driver either needs to get out of the car or stretch halfway out of the window to make them work. They need to somehow be made a bit more sensitive, so one does not have to actually touch them to get the gates to open.

Location was perfect, a one minute drive to the airport. The hotel offers a free shuttle service that is why I booked and was pleasantly surprised how close it was. The hotel is VERY clean. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The complimentary breakfast was the best one that I had on the trip. Very clean and the staff was filling all the items. Large area to dine in and coffee was available at all times.

Everything was great, zero issues.

The staff were exceptional. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and make us feel welcome. The woman who picked us up from the airport was also setting out breakfast and remembered our conversation from the shuttle and asked us for updates on our trip. It showed kindness and genuine interest in our stay going well.

Weirdly, the beds were uncomfortable. This is very strange for a Hampton Inn. They were small and boxy.

Staff was courteous and professional at all times. They were of great assistance to me and my special needs son during our stay. Breakfast was scrumptious every morning. If I ever return to STL, I will definitely be staying at the Hampton Inn. Exceptional 🤗💯

It just so happened that I didn't receive house keeping service until the second day. 🙃

Excellent value, conveniently close to airport and its metro station, delicious hearty breakfast buffet, and friendly helpful staff. I appreciated the tips they gave me for touring around St. Louis.

I almost slipped on the ice while walking out to a nearby barbecue restaurant and would have appreciated if more of the parking lot area had been treated.

Our first room was not satisfactory but they moved us to a better one without a problem. (The first room was dark and had a cleaning smell.). The next room was very, very clean without the smell.
