Rooms and grounds were exceptionally clean, and beds were very comfortable. Convenient location just outside Ithaca, with lower rates than hotels in the city itself. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the outdoor pool was lovely. Large, clean grass area surrounding the pool, perfect spot for relaxing or for kids to run around. Loved that the fitness room was available 24 hours and the pool was open late. Housekeeping staff was helpful and respectful of our departure time instead of rushing us out in the morning as often happens in lower-priced facilities. Greatly exceeded my expectations for a mid-priced hotel...we had a great stay!

Some of the outdoor common areas were in need of repair (peeling paint on doors to pool area and broken lampposts). The sauna and both jacuzzis were out of order and looked as though they haven't been in use for quite a while. None of this was a problem, as the listing doesn't mention a suana or jacuzzi, but it would be a nice touch to have those amenities available in the future.

Like you I was questioning if I should stay here, based on previous reviews, but I’m honestly so happy I did! Breakfast is on point too. Ok so if you’re looking for modern updated latest and greatest this isn’t for you. But it’s honestly an incredible place. I wanted to explore it so badly! Im a child of the 90’s born in the late 80’s and the restaurant is almost like a time capsule from that period. It has literally surpassed the dated period and become hip and cool again in my eyes. The bed was literally the most comfortable in the area, the bathroom was also 90’s esk but seriously awesome. The water pressure was astounding! Some of the lighting in the hallways is out but I kinda like it that way, gave a little bit of a horror type vibe which was really unique and cool. Seriously stay here. It’s awesome!!!

The property was extremely close to Cornell and was a great price for us to stay the night after a long drive bringing my daughter to school. The front desk manager was super nice and helpful! The rooms were clean. Breakfast was great!

It was a bit run down. The sink in the bathroom had rust in it and the AC had a musty smell. The thing I didn’t like most of all were the rugs in the rooms. It seemed like they’ve been there a long time and I’m just not a fan of rugs in hotels.

I liked that both the indoor and outdoor pools were open good hours and were clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The continental breakfast was appealing and very tasty. Our son and grandsons joined us for breakfast one morning and the staff was very accomodating. There were a few tour buses overnight one night and the hotel was still fairly quiet. The location was perfect for the event we were attending that weekend.

Eggs tasted like they were from powder but the french toast was great as well as the sausage. The staff is very friendly. The beds were a bit on the soft side but not horrible. They should consider some new mattresses in the near future. Overall we liked it a lot.

A nice respite with very friendly and helpful staff. Pools and breakfast very nice. Found a great Japanese fusion place across the street with great food for a great price.

Saw the sauna and hot tubs that were closed. That would have enhanced experience. The bathroom did not have a fan and toilet seat moved.

It was a peaceful area away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Nice older hotel, but it did not ‘smell bad’ like other people had said.

The indoor pool was out of service the first night and the second night it was fixed but still too cold. There was no hot tub or sauna.

Booked this for graduation weekend, and my family loved the stay! The breakfast was splendid, staff were lovely and helpful, and we love the hospitality (even got a graduation teddy bear for it!). Totally good value for its price and location!

I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was very clean. Our hotel room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. I got the best sleep then I've had in awhile. The breakfast was awesome. No complaints here. Only stars

Staff were so friendly. My daughter and I stayed overnight for her College visit in nearby Aurora. The hotel was close, a great price and very clean.

Shower curtain in bathroom was this non plastic material and does not keep water in. Floor gets wet and the one towel was very wet. Lamps weren't very bright.
