This is, the best hotel if you’re travelling to Cornell University, or seek a temporal stay like myself. For starters, the location of the hotel is within five minutes walking to Cornell Campus, and five minutes walking to College Town. The staff members are exceptional, super attentive, and empathetic. The owner, the manager and the front desk member are all in someway related to Cornell, or attended Cornell in the past, and understand the situation of Cornell students. They have done me a great favor, and I want to at least show my appreciation here. The common area has beverage on-demand and free morning coffee & tea. It has an elevator, a laundry room and keyless room cards. Parking is included if available. Finally, for everything this location has to offer, the price is unparalleled, and I guarantee you that you would want to come back next time!

The hotel was a very well done boutique accommodation close to the University. The owner has gone above and beyond to give it that dorm room feel, while still giving you all the comforts of a nice hotel. It oozes nostalgia! The hotel staff were very friendly and informative and seem to really care about their patrons.

We don’t really have anything bad to say, but would maybe have some suggestions that would help the comfort level of the room, without taking away from the dorm room experience. Those suggestions/observations would be: 1) A rug at the bedside. Since the floors are hard surfaces, dirt is tracked in and ends up on your feet and then in the bed because there is no rug. 2) Luggage Bench. To have a place to open up your luggage (not on the bed). In our room under the tv would have been a perfect, out of the way spot for this. 3) Rain shower heads need a lot of water pressure to work properly, and for ladies who want to keep their hair dry, can be a nightmare.

Excellent design and Cornell vibe, comfortable rooms, good value for Ithaca, even during busy weekends, and a perfect location to walk anywhere on the Cornell campus (which is unheard of in Ithaca other than the Statler Hotel in the middle of campus). Extremely helpful staff who were super responsive for us on various special requests that we had...Really a great stay and highly recommended!

I stayed here for 3 nights visiting my son at Cornell. Traveling on my own I much appreciated the lounge where I could get a cup of tea during the day or read a book in the evening. The staff is very helpful, gave good suggestions for places to visit and where to go for dinner. Location is right beside Cornell and close (walking distance) to both The Commons en Collegetown.

because of the wooden floors I could hear the guests walking in the room above.

The hotel is very modern, affordable, and has nice amenities such as "smart" room controls. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and parking and access to the Cornell campus were much appreciated.

The rooms are very small and designed for casual visitors, not for people trying to get work done after hours in their rooms. While the connectivity and electrical connections were great, the desk was tiny.

We needed somewhere to spend 3 nights whilst visiting Ithaca on way to the East Coast. This place proved to be perfect. Everything we needed, clean, comfortable, compact, affordable with a great staff. Plenty of parking round the back, WiFi and TV worked flawlessly, and something I’d never seen before, self serve beer and wine on tap.

Came to visit my son at college. Such a cute and clean hotel! Loved the Cornell decor - Go Big Red! Comfortable.sheets and bed and close to the Cornell campus.

There's 3 floors but the elevator only does to the second floor. One has to go up a set of stairs and it may be a hassle if you have heavy luggage. I had my husband with me and the receptionist cArried my luggage!😀

Terrific location if you are visiting Cornell.

You need to have coffee options before 8:00 am! Please put out self service pod machine for guests to help themselves. I see that as a major flaw. Both mornings people were lined up waiting for the guy to put the coffee on. Also-there should be water and glasses in the rooms. I like how Canopy by Hilton has centralized filtered water dispensers where you can fill a reusable glass carafe for your room.

Nothing, really, except maybe that parking WAS very tight--though they do warn you about that. There's also no 24/7 front desk but they were very good about contacting me in advance for an after-10PM check-in and leaving the key in a labeled lockbox for me.

great value. very quiet, well decorated and comfortable room. really neat to have so many beers on tap. novel idea! terrific check in experience. the young man was very knowledgeable about the area and helpful with ideas. far exceeded our expectations. loved sitting in the living room and also the outdoor deck. my husband and I are in our 60's and found the hip vibe to be fun. highly highly recommend.

only issue for older folks is that it's up a pretty steep hill from downtown. but good exercise!
