Courtyard by Marriott Ithaca Airport/University

I liked the cleanliness of the room and the pleasant attitude of the workers. I liked that it was not in an area that made me concerned about my car. I liked the cold water fountain near the workout room, but water and coffee should be easily available in the lobby. I liked being able to meet friends in the lobby.

I did not like a charge for breakfast. It was a bit pricey. Servide was great.. I did not like dirt of sand at the bottom of the pool or that the jacuzzi was broken. I did not like the distance to other restaurants, none in walking distance. A water fountain and some complimentary coffee should be avaiable in the lobby, perhaps along with some cookies. I did not like the price on Friday night. In fact, I checked out and went to another hotel although our gathering was at the Marriott..

It was in a great location, super clean, big rooms and very quiet. We found the staff friendly and helpful, and the facilities clean and as expected. The pricing was right for the accommodation provided. We would stay here again.

I think the idea of having a bespoke breakfast is fine, especially in these times, however, if you are going to offer this you have to staff for it too! There was one person only dealing with a long line of people - which is expected at breakfast. They were doing their level best and I commend them (I am finding no fault with their level of service here) but having two people would have solved the overly long and annoying wait for orders.

A couple of notes.. I liked the room I like the Shower, although it got a little bit cold halfway through.. I like the overall facility The staff was extremely helpful, especially Darius who had a great sense of humor and was efficient and kind.

1. The television buttons they don't work except periodically. I have no idea if it was the battery in the remote or just a faulty mechanism. I don't need to be a member of Bonfoy travel. Fix the buttons ! Room 129 ... Courtyard Marriott. Ithaca NY 2. the "a la carte" food is a little bit of an insult. you don't need to have lots of breakfast, but you know, you could have something ... like at least a free coffee -- there was free tea -- and maybe some fresh fruit. I don't think it will bust the bank. A la carte is a euphemism.

Excellent service from a top quality team with whom we personally interacted for several special requests for a multi-room family event. Everyone from front desk to housekeeping to cafe exceeded expectations. Very clean, comfortable, well maintained and the food and coffee quality was well above the typical for this type of hotel. Plenty of parking. Large rooms.

Room temperature was a difficult to regulate accurately since the thermostat is located near the main heating -cooling vent and not near the bed. Higher than comfortable variation across the room.

The location is excellent. I had a very early flight, and I was able to walk over to the passenger terminal at the airport. The room was comfortable.

I was unable to have the breakfast, as I had a very early flight, meaning I had to check out around 4 AM (I think breakfast starts at 6AM). It would be nice if breakfast could be provided for customers who are in a similar situation. Also, I think the airport shuttle doesn't start until later in the morning, so I could not take advantage of that.

The park like setting, beautiful landscaped n maintained grounds. Peace and quiet away from traffic. Adequate staffing. comfortable bed, well-appointed room, a separate make-up mirror outside bath +shower. Many ports for electronic devices. Free working WiFi . clean elevators and common areas. A la Cart snacks and beverages available 24 hours.

Barking & whining dogs. Over-priced breakfast , very limited menu, Take it or leave it attitude by server.

Bed was comfortable, room was big. The pool was clean and a perfect temperature. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Location was great for us, a quiet area that was still an easy drive into the city or to hiking.

Nothing. We were extremely satisfied with our stay.

The pillows were flat. I constantly had to figure out the lock on the door. The deadbolt would sometimes stick out when leaving the room and I had to figure out how to get the door closed. Practically no breakfast unless you want to pay a high price for what looked like a complimentary breakfast. Bathroom floor didn’t look as if it had been mopped.

The staff accommodated us when we arrived before check-in time with a room that wasn't what we originally booked, but that suited our needs just as well. And we didn't have to wait several hours! The fitness room and the landscaped area around the hotel allowed us to get a good workout in without having to go far.

The concession/ bar area was not as functional as it could have been, but that's more than likely due to Covid-19.

Our only problem was there is no longer a Hot Tub although their website says there is one. Love that there’s a little snack bar and the snacks were actually very inexpensive! Didn’t like that I had to pay for Wi-Fi.
