- Location: just 5 minutes drive from a lot of shops, restaurants and Buttermilk Falls. - Room: pet-friendly ($25 USD/night), free parking and room is accessed from outside which is very convenient! The bed is very comfortable and everything was clean. Surprisingly quiet :-)! - Breakfast: probably the best continental breakfast I've been. I wasn't expecting so many selection: banana, clementine, coffee, cereal, milk, yogurt, bagel, toast, muffin, jam, cream cheese, butter, waffle maker, egg patties and sausages. - Staff is super friendly! Rodeway Inn is nice enough. The room was very clean, spacious, and everything seemed relatively new inside. It's not fancy by any means, but that's why I think the price point is a little high for a roadside motel. That being said, the prices of everything are high these days, so maybe this is just what even lower-end rooms cost now. I would definitely stay there if all of the major hotels in Ithaca are booked. Unlike its sister Choice Hotel properties which I've heard are horrific, Rodeway Inn is pleasant.

The room smelled stale when I walked in, and you can't open a window. Running the AC for a bit made it better.

Conveniently located. This is a quiet place and has most of the amenities you would need for an overnight stay. The bathroom was huge and the shower was great in regard to water pressure and the inside of the shower. The separate area where the bathroom sink is was pretty nice too. Fridge worked good. Bed was super firm but comfy. Breakfast was pretty good. Overall it was sufficient and served its purpose.

The ironing board was tiny and the iron smelled/was burned on the bottom. Horrible pillows so bring your own with you if possible. There was no small couch or lounge chair only a desk and 1 rolling desk chair so there was no place for 2 people to sit and eat. Air conditioner didn't work that well probably because it was in a window in the back by the bathroom sink.

This was a nice, clean, family run motel very close to Buttermilk and just outside of Ithaca. I was pleasantly surprised for the quality at the price point, and the family who run the motel are hard-working and friendly. They allow your dog! Probably not where I would stay with my wife, but for me and the pup after long days of hiking, it was perfect.

Simple place. The bed was very high but comfortable. The rooms were quiet, clean and inviting. Had hot water and water pressure. The towels were nice and fluffy. The couple that runs the place is very nice and gave us good advice regarding things to see in the area. The location was great for us.

We really enjoyed our stay! The rooms were spacious and well-maintained. Housekeeping service was done on a daily basis. The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly. The location of the hotel is great! A lot of parks, restaurants and shops are just 5 minutes away from it.

The Wi-fi signal was weak from time to time.

The room was spacious with a big comfortable bed. Charging of devices was easy through usb ports. The bathroom was big enough, the washing basin was outside the bathroom - easy for makeup and use of bathroom at the same time for 2 persons. Inn breakfast was normal with bagels/bread/waffles, butter/cream cheese in fridge, some pastries and some bananas.

Difficult to make a left turn at exit. The window cannot be opened. Tap water is always warm (there is drinking water in the lobby though). The king bed is a little too much for oo high even for a tall person to climb up.

The staff members were really pleasant. The room was clean, spacious, and there was no outside noise fromt the road. There even were some hot breakfast items! Overall simple but solid place close to the parks and downtown Ithaca

It was stuffy and humid in the room despite the AC. Also the walls are very thin and you can hear everything in the hall and next door. So if you get rowdy neighbors it might get pretty loud.

Front desk staff were incredibly friendly and fast. Also helpful! Great recommendations on activities and places to eat.

Small complaint - but when we turned on the air conditioning for the night (it was unusually hot for April) little black bits of gunk came out for a bit of time. Nothing lethal, but off-putting. We chalked it up to probably being the first time it was used since the winter.
