The parking lot was very convenient and allowed us to leave our car for the entire stay as we only used public transportation to reach out tourist destinations. Very friendly staff that were always available and answered all our needs and requests. We had a king room that was specious enough and even had a fridge and a microwave which was a great bonus.

Location were great, within east walking distance of trains. Staff at checkin was friendly and efficient. Room was ok, and the bed was comfortable.

The only downside was breakfast. A bagel, cereal and tasteless coffee. There’s a lot of room to improve here.

Room was OK. Not modern but was adequate. Location to travel into Manhattan with Metro line 7: 10 mins walk to the station and 10 min metro. For me was good

Breakfast was included in the price and it was terrible. Not at all to anyone standards. Coffee as well as the yellow colored watery stuff (they called orange juice) came out of a machine. Cold milk from a small bottle was available and 3-4 kinds of cornflake like stuff for children. For 2 days we small yoghurt cups. Other days not. Muffins were frozen inside. I don't know why they serve this at all. It should not be such a big effort to pay a bit of attention to a decent breakfast.

Location was great. Enjoyed an excellent stay. Staff was courteous,helpful and very accommodating. Room was clean. I will definately stay there again. Thank you to all!

This hotel was great when it was a hotel. I was returning with reservations but upon arrival came to discover in 2 days this hotel was converted to a nyc shelter. No warning. All those checking in and those already there were made to leave immediately. People coming from the airport found themselves like me stranded. Neither wyndom nor nyc gave a damn abt paying customers. The treatment received by the guests was inexcusable

I loved the location as it put us in walking distance for almost everything. Convenient to the riverside and small intimate cafes and nightlife. Beautiful views of Manhattan, including landmarks such as Chrysler building, Empire State building, One World Trade enter, both day and night. Love that it put us in the middle of things yet still kept us distant the main craziness that is NYC.

The first thing to greet us was a beetle on the doorframe. Alive and kicking. Yuck! We could have used one more mini water so that each of us could have one. The receptionist on our morning out to adventures, was rude and deceitful to a gentleman who had his family in NYC for the very first time. She kept trying to talk them onto the subway. All well and good for those who know what they are doing. But not if you don't know know how to navigate the system and its connections. That was disappointing to watch. I quickly found out what they were interested and gave them info on landmarks and a couple of children's activities as I am a tour guide for Tano's Treasures and Heygo. Receptionists have a duty to help their patrons, not confuse them.

The hotel is located 7-8 minutes from the subway station (line E), which you can use to come from JFK airport, it is one stop from Manhattan (Lexington Av/53 St) The room is spacious, clean, I stayed on the top floor (7), overlooking Manhattan. In the room I had a refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, a large diagonal TV and a large and comfortable bed. The staff was very nice I paid 1185 USD for one week, an OK price for New York There is not much choice for breakfast, but considering that it is included in the price, it is OK I have a question (for which I am waiting for an answer), why was USD 103.66 stopped after I left the hotel? I gladly recommend this hotel to my friends who will visit New York Liviu Aldea

Perfect location. Don't let the first block or 2 fool you once you walk towards Gantry Plaza State Park its a different world perfect location. Value for money for a hotel near Manhattan especially for someone travelling from Europe. Also near subway stations about 5 mins away. The Breakfast was OK for a quick snack on the go shame they don't do hot food like scrambled eggs etc. The staff were pleasant and friendly.

The house cleaning could be a bit more regular took 5 days before another room clean. Should be more regular if staying a week or so. Apart for that the room was fine.

Comfortable bed and spacious room size, room had all the basic amenities including Tv, coffee machine , air conditioning, full size fridge and microwave . 24 hour desk, close to Metro for travel into Manhattan (approx time 10 minutes)

Breakfast ran from 6am-11, all the food on offer was basic pre packaged but ideal for grab and go including takeaway coffee ( but there was places nearby for cooked food). The hotel flooded due to the environmental weather threat that hit New York- but this is hardly fault of the hotel, and staff did their best to stop the flooding.

The staff was very helpful (the communication prior to as well as during our stay was great) - they stored our luggage before check in and after check out so we could still explore the city. The room was very clean with an extra comfortable bed. We also liked the view from the 5th floor of the hotel. The hotel is only a short stroll away from the C and J line, which took us to Manhattan in no time.

No complaint about the hotel, but rather a bonus info for our fellow travellers: The shop next to the hotel is rather pricey, there is one however next to the C subway station that has more moderate prices.
