Hyatt Regency Rochester

Location and parking garage, staff were great, good price, clean white linens and good TV. Comfortable thermostat controls and heating.

The pool was closed Saturday night and I was unimpressed with the market items and price. There was a horrid smell Friday night outside the elevator on the 7th floor, luckily, we were able to close the door to the room and keep it in the hallway. The shower was great, until Sunday morning, then we didn't have hot water, not much anyway, cool shower.

My room was very gently used opened water in fridge and body odor on a chair still perfect so I'm not subtracting we're talking 24th floor very well appointed room the bed perfectly made and amazing sleep I love the shower grips oh yeah the tray with the ice needed replacing extremely warped they had really great sandwiches for sale and salads Bonus I watched the fireworks from my room Unforgettable Thank you!

The expectations were set with the email greeting before we arrived 24 hours ahead of my check in stay. I had time to prepare and still be hopeful. I enjoyed the boneless wings and unique cheese in the french onion soup with a delicious salad and very eatable chicken. As well as dining one evening out with a restaurant recommended by the Hyatt. With close enough access to many attractions with a brisk walk, we enjoyed our stay very much.

The best hotel for a stay in Rochester. It is safe and secure, it has everything you need, so you won't be unsatisfied with the city! The staff were fantastic, the pool has 25 yards of pure relax, the gym is modern and very convenient. A very important point: the hotel provides you with water, coffee, tea and a HUGE TV set with the Internet! We had a wonderful evening at the lobby bar, vis-a-vis very classy Italian dishes and decent cocktails, watching NFL game on a flatscreen in a calm corner. Nobody was annoying, the lady who served the table was amazing, and there is no bad points to complain about.

I liked everything. You don't have to go outside to the city - the latter may be a bit unpleasant for an unaware person.

front desk staff during checkin was not very nice. made us feel not welcome. initially told us he couldn’t give us the king bed we booked, before another staff member stepped in and confirmed we would get the room. the whole checkin experience left a sour taste to what otherwise would have been a 10/10 stay.

Dinner menu was just ok. No options for vegetarians and vegans. The chef botched the pizza!

Room was nice but glassshower door wouldn’t stay close while showing. Had to shower holding one door from sliding or the floor would have been wet!! A bit ridiculous. We happened to be there at the same time of a wedding party and a team of young boys. One elevator went offline so folks were cramming in elevators. Also many of the guests were moving about in large groups WITHOUT MASKS! Didn’t feel comfortable at all.

I liked the size of the room and it was nice to have the hanger space for clothes for a work trip as well as the desk space in the room.

Wished the complimentary coffee in the lobby would have been consistently stocked in the mornings.

I was in town for one night for a wedding and the location was perfect relative to the Wintergarden. Being able to walk to and from the wedding was a huge relief. I had an executive king room that was incredibly spacious and clean. Free weekend parking in the garage was a great surprise and a huge bonus! No breakfast, but a Starbucks is conveniently located on the ground floor.

I have no complaints - I would gladly stay at this property again. I had no doubts that the location was properly sanitized and felt very comfortable staying during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The hotel was very nice. the second desk employee we spoke to was very helpful with dining suggestions (Szechuan Opera was great!)

The first desk employee we talked to acted like we were bothering him when we asked if High Falls was within walking distance and proceeded to give us bad directions.

the staff was not so nice when we register, although they weren’t bad either. but they call me in the middle of the night asking me if I ordered room service I told them not but still 30 minutes after the call someone knock in my door. I was too tired to answer, but still, they woke us up
