Inn on Broadway

Accommodations were great. Inn was beautifully decorated. Very clean and quiet. The bathroom was spotless and I loved the bathrobe that was supplied. Enjoyed that there was great cable TV channels and Wi-Fi. Comfortable bed.

The cold water from the bathroom faucet was hot water. Also, the complementary breakfast items were scarce and when I asked if there were any granola bars he looked and said all out of them. I was surprised that there was no ice or vending machine. I said water was hot from faucet so could I have 2 bottles of water and I was charged $6.

This is a really beautiful, well-maintained historic hotel that is very close to restaurants & coffee shops. Check-in was super easy and the staff were friendly & helpful. The bed was very comfortable and everything I needed for my stay was provided. I also appreciated that parking was provided at no additional charge and the building was secure so I felt very safe as a solo traveler. I will definitely stay here again when I am back in Rochester.

I liked everything about the property. It was centrally located, had onsite free parking in the mid of downtown (my favorite location close to Spot’s cafe), room was big with very thoughtful things even like make up remover towel- gel. Bed was comfy enough for a family with kids. Shower was fantastic. Every morning there was coffee and muffin at the lobby.

Unavailability of staff to help with luggage.

Love the quaint size and character of this hotel. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Appreciate the wine bottle opener and the glasses and mugs provided in room- not plastic/disposable cups. Free parking. Comfortable bed. Spacious room. Quiet hallway. Good quality bath towels including a designated cosmetic wash cloth w/wet wipe. Plenty of toiletries including dental rinse.

Coasters needed in room to protect the lovely antique furniture. $3 for bottled water in room— should be included at no charge. Water spills when trying to fill in-room coffee maker. Only 3 bed pillows— 2/person would be a better minimum amount. No mini fridge to keep leftovers or beverages.

We loved the architecture and decorating details at this Art Deco Hotel. The room was large and very comfortable.

We did not like the location which seemed unsafe. The front desk staff at check in and check out absolutely were too busy chatting to treat us as paying hotel guests. Not even a friendly hello or how was your stay.

Bar and restaurant and rooms are all great - we have stayed multiple times and it’s always a nice stay. Do wish coffee was more accessible but the front desk is always willing to get you some in the morning.

Parking- we were warned about crime in the area, made us a little nervous about breakins but we didn’t have any kind of negative experience, just that it’s not a necessarily secure area. Great and easy though.

Everyone was super nice and helpful. Love that the restaurant and bar are on site and open. Very comfortable room, loved the aromatherapy diffuser which was going upon our arrival, lavender...so nice and welcoming. Showers were amazing, multi head, very nice.

Faucets in bathroom leaked a little, can tell things may be worn around the edges, bed is VERY creaky but very comfy! No coffee service really available for purchase in the morning other than keurig in room but the staff was so nice and grabbed us some at the front desk. Cant adjust room thermostat (is locked) so had to open a window.

Great location for exploring the Neighbourhood of the Arts. The historic Inn had a lot of charm. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. The shower was amazing!

Some areas could use a little TLC - but it did not detract from the overall experience.

Fantastic historic building located in a great location. Staff incredible and very friendly!
