Tru By Hilton Raleigh Durham Airport

The hotel is modern, clean and exactly as pictured. Every staff member is welcoming, polite and helpful. We loved the bright and varied seating areas as well as the game play area in the lobby. We also enjoyed having hot food items at breakfast every morning with coffee available all day. This was a great, relaxed family stay.

Be sure to actually call for the shuttle from the airport after arriving as it isn’t necessary on a scheduled rotation. Also note that most of the Dish Network channels came through with poor signals, making the tv unwatchable for us. My suggestion would be that the hotel setup app features on the room TVs so guests can use their own streaming subscriptions in the room.

Clean and close to the airport, with comfortable beds and a modern look. I liked the squeeze bottles for shampoo and body wash installed in the shower instead of the little plastic bottles that are a huge waste. Good breakfast options and a funky lobby that has snacks and other items for sale.

The shuttle was very convenient. The staff was very friendly. Proximity to the airport was convenient.

The room was cool but could have been cleaner. I found hair in the sheets. The shower drain had a little smell to it. Would've liked a microwave in the room but there was 1 located in the lobby so it was fine.

Location was convenient to the airport. We were able to park our car for a reasonable fee at the hotel for a week while we traveled. Hotel was clean and new. Bed was comfortable. Our check in clerk was very helpful.

Daytime staff including housekeeping and front desk were not wearing masks at least not over their nose and mouth.

The staff, Reece Rogers was a wonderful. he knew everyone’s name and you felt like he cares about every guest. He even told us Chris would be there the next day and he was very friendly, as well.

Slight inconvenience with the paving of the parking lot.

While we were assured that the hotel airport shuttle would run on time, the 5am driver did not show up at 5am as advertised by hotel. He did not arrive until 5:25am which caused those with 6:00am flights to have to find another last minute, hectic form of transportation to get to the airport in time to check in, go through security, board, etc. Our shuttle was due to run at 5:15am, but we thankfully were able to get on the first (late) shuttle and make it on time.

Clean, bright, welcoming, convenient, comfortable. Cute pop art design. We stayed here after our flight out was canceled and the hotel just made everything easy. There was no restaurant but they had a list of delivery options and they also had some food for purchase in the lobby.

Practical and convenient hotel. The rooms are large and the staff is super nice. The hotel has nothing fancy, it has an industrial feel, and the food options on location are basic but there are many good options in the neighborhood.

The bed was wonderful! Also the lovely lady who checked us out and put breakfast out (on dec 23rd) was just so sweet she made my day! After a long flight it was a wonderful welcome to North Carolina!

The floor in the room looks like wood but is made of a composite that can be cleaned and sanitized completely. It is a very European style, skipping all the extra furniture (that loses your peripherals and stuff) and simply has well-placed shelves and garment pegs to keep your stuff organized. a side table is on rollers and can be used as a table for dining and then as a bedside table, plenty of plugs for charging your phone and tablet, and they are located higher so you don't forget them, and you dont have to hunt for them either. Very clean bathroom. Toiletries are supplied in large tubes that eliminate the excessive waste of all those little bottles. and the toiletries are high quality that leaves your skin smooth, clean and well washed. good conditioner leaves your hair soft. there was absolutely NO GRIT AT ALL on the floor, and little wet naps were included to sanitize hands on your travels. there is no coffee maker in the room, and no frig, but you can readily get hot drinks 24/7 at the front desk. If I had been traveling with my husband, the lack of refrigeration would have been bad, due to his medication, but as it was it was not a problem.

I would have appreciated a coffee maker and a refrigerator (esp. if I was with someone needing refrigeration for medication). Also, no one answered the phone when I was trying to call from the airport to be sure I had the address correct. I was concerned that the hotel was not actually open, and that I'd get to a shut down hotel.
