Americas Best Value Inn Ashtabula/Austinburg

Price was great. We were gone most of the day so just basically just slept and watched a little bit of TV. Was near enough to everything we wanted to do. Right off the interstate so easy access. Was quite no other issues while we were there.

The air conditioner didn't work in the room we were originally put into. Staff was very responsive once they were alerted to the issue.

Room was comfortable, we had to switch rooms because the door wouldn't lock. Staff was helpful but I had to go to front desk twice with concern. Housekeeping was friendly and respectful. We asked for privacy and they gave it to us.

The shower head was so low I had to bend to get my hair washed. The floor of the shower had a major incline for drainage and it felt like I was slipping. Parking lot was full of pot holes and parking space lines not very clearly marked.

The location was a good match for the areas that we wanted to see while we were there. We really liked the lady at the front desk! She was very helpful and pleasant. New a lot about the area and was patient. She also explained to us about things there at the hotel. I cannot express enough what a wonderful representative she is for the hotel!!

Nice location, clean, quite room specially for being right by the road and highway we did not hear any outside noises. For being the cheapest room around it was really nice and no complaints. Clean and comfortable room.

Did not see breakfast, time was 6-9 am and we wanted to sleep in so ate at Denny’s across the street instead.

The property, of fifties vintage, met all of our expectations. We needed an overnight place to stay, as my wife was receiving her first COVID shot at the Ashtabula Rite-Aid Pharmacy. We were fortunate to get a hit on social media for this destination. We departed from Pittsburgh, PA on March 11th, and headed back home on the 12th. We only needed the basics for our room. We had an excellent location, immediately off I-90, with a fifteen minute drive to our vaccine location in Ashtabula. Our room was clean and comfortable. The morning lady could not have been more gracious. She was such a good listener as we unfolded our quest for this COVID shot. She offered us a cup of coffee, which really hit the spot! ☕️☕️ We arrived expecting no special amenities, other than our basic needs to be met, but we walked away pleasantly surprised.

The property was practical for the money. It was strategically located as my wife was seeking her second Covid vaccine shot. The staff was friendly and helpful with local information. We were missing a heat lightbulb in the bathroom. Within minutes of my request, a gentleman showed up with the bulb. The front desk personnel were very friendly. We had hot coffee prior to our departure. It was brewed and readied for us by the front desk attendant. Thank you for the kindness expressed to a pair of seniors from Pittsburgh.

Breakfast was acceptable with the restrictions of the time. Sheets looked wrinkled but smelled clean. Older property- needs some update( rust on toilet paper dispenser) but staff does their best.

Seemed to be an odor when entering the room-sort of old or slightly musty

Great value and super clean. There are not a lot of bells and whistles, but I would definitely stay here again.

The surrounding area is run-down and not much to speak of, but the room was a diamond in the rough.

I rarely eat supplied breakfast. My room was clean, comfortable and sufficient for my needs.

Not enough power outlets. I have a few devices that needed USB charging...I had to move things around to accommodate my devices...Not a big problem...just a minor inconvenience.

The staff was nice. It wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. It was raining so we could only stay indoors. So I can't give too many stars ✨️ sorry.

It was run down and needed some repairs.
