Hampton Inn Madison, OH

This property was super clean and comfortable. I appreciated the attention to detail and convenience in the room like sliding door to bathroom allowing more space in the room, dark blinds that were easy to raise and lower, USB charging stations and more. We had our small dog with us and there was plenty of room to set up her crate and her dishes in an area off the carpet. They even had free dog treats at the desk. Breakfast was unexpectedly nice with omelets, yogurt, cereal, sausage and more. I have saved my information on this hotel so we can stay there again in the future!

Honestly,I don't know of anything, that we didn't like ,lol We finally found a nice Motel,that we really enjoy visiting ❤️🙏❤️We felt blessed 🌅

The Hampton Inn offered the best and healthiest of the 6 breakfasts we had during out 16 day trip. I especially liked the wide selection of real [not canned] cut-up and whole pieces of fruit, and hard boiled eggs .and excellent coffee! Many hotel breakfasts are too heavily focused on starches , sugars , strange-tasting scrambled eggs and no multigrain options or fresh fruit.

Lack of easy-to-follow copies of street maps of the area including listing of the nearby restaurants and special sights. .

It was a good stay. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good but could have had more variety.

Room was fine. Not sure but it kind of smelled like there was a dog there. I know it is dog friendly but I would hope they keep dog friendly rooms separated from other rooms because some people hav allergies to pet hair and smell.

One of our best experiences. Clean, comfortable, very friendly staff. The location was very convenient to the main highway, easy to get to and easy to get back on the main road to continue our travels. The hotel is clean and well taken care of. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. As we will be traveling this way more often, this will definitely be our place to stay at the mid/way point of our travels.

The breakfast was really good. Nice variety to choose from. The breakfast attendant was very courteous and friendly. She kept everything full and clean. The only suggestion that I have would be to have two toasters. All the staff at this Hampton were exceptional. The front desk, breakfast attendant, maintenance guy-All were awesome and friendly. The outdoor patio are was nice, especially in the evening. We lit the fireplace so it was nice and cozy.

I wish that the swimming pool was just a little bigger, deeper and warmer. Our room was very spacious with a loveseat but it would have been nice to have a COMFY chair and ottoman, too. Neither of these ruined our stay. We plan on staying there again the next time we are visiting Ohio Wine Country.

This was the BEST hotel we stayed in during our whole trip and honestly top 3 of hotel rooms of my whole life!! Worth every penny of the price! FRIENDLY and HELPFUL staff...even made us a cold to-go breakfast box since we were leaving before hot breakfast started. We had driven over 600mi in a moving truck that day and that room gave us a sweet ending to a bitter day. Thank you Hampton Inn in Madison Ohio!!!

Someone from the staff could've offered to drive us the remaining 800mi to Bangor Maine. LOL....J/K!! Nothing to not like. We loved our stay!!

everything was well maintained and clean. the breakfast was more than I expected. It’s a newer hotel and everything is modern. the staff is very friendly and there is everything you need if you forgot something or just want some wine or a snack. the gas fire pit was very nice to sit around at night and met some nice people while we were there. all in all a success!

The check in was a breeze with a warm welcome. The room was clean and comfortable.

The checkout was slow and 2 hours later I still have no email receipt. I ended up just leaving my keys because the staff person was struggling with the computer. There was only the one person she was helping ahead of me. They both apologized. I think it was a computer issue.

We were told the hotel was opened in 2019 so it was new and clean. Besides LED lighting, the USB charging ports everywhere needed, there was also a digital wall control for heating/cooling that eliminated the constant need to fine tune knobs under a hidden door/cover like some still today. The decor was tastefully done to reflect the Grand River Wine region and were cheerful colors on a calming grey backdrop. We had a king room with a large walk-in shower. The ample living room had a desk with a swivel chair and a comfortable sofa bed. We also noted some four legged canine guests, but we slept through fine, no sounds from outside our room ever penetrated the serene space. We woke to a generous breakfast off the lobby featuring omelettes and sausage, pastries, juices, coffee, cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit.
