We were here for the solar eclipse on April 7th & 8th. The location was perfect. The motel is set back off the road, so you don’t hear traffic and it is situated against a backdrop of trees, so it doesn’t feel commercial. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean with a nice size refrigerator and a small microwave. A washer and dryer and a large ice machine is available. We felt lucky to have found this gem at a very reasonable price.

The motel is going through renovation, so any flaw I might point out could be addressed prior to reserving.

Motel was close to the event we were attending. Liked the modern feel of the room, which appeared to be remodeled recently. Liked the little kitchen area w/fridge and microwave.

Couldn't park in front of the room. There was no place to put clothes in the bathroom, no hooks on the back of the door for a robe or anything. Coffee pot had moldy used/coffee packet still in it.

They are going through renovations, so the online pictures don’t accurately represent the motel. My King non-smoking had a mini fridge, microwave, updated bathroom and laminate flooring. There was a fire pit on the property, so we had a lovely little bonfire. The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I apologize to the readers of this review that I didn’t take more photos.

Truly have no complaints. The only “negative” things would be the final updating and finishing touches that are in progress.

The owner was very pleasant. They have been doing a massive renovation so some of the details have not been completed. Brand new bathrooms. New overhead lighting in the unit. New fridge and coffeemaker.

Apparently our room was a designated smoking room, which we did not ask for. (didn’t think they were allowed anymore), so there was a definite odor. Opening the windows helped.

The Villa Rosa is a great location for my reason to be in rhe area. The room was clean and quiet, my 2 main criteria for any accommodation.

The motel has been under renovation which is good as the property is dated. The owners just need to finish that up. My room had patches on the walls indicating fixes and was awaiting paint. Totally understandable though.

Location - close to the highway we were traveling on.

We liked everything about it We just have a couple of suggestions: Safety/grab bars in the shower. Senior travelers may have mobility/balance issues. A medium weight comforter to use over flat sheet for warmth.

Very nice owner. Very clean, quiet and nicely situated away from the road.

The room needs hooks to hang clothes in the bathroom and clothes hangers and luggage rack in the bedroom area. Also reading lights would be nice.

The outside was a little dated, but the inside was totally redone and very beautiful and clean. Bed was comfortable, shower was great, loved the square shower head, very quiet, staff was welcoming - they gave us directions for places to eat. Everything made our stay perfect.

There was nothing to dislike. Had comfortable bed, refrigerator, microwave, coffee, lots of lights, USB ports on each side of the bed along with a place to put your phone, book, etc.

Owners were very accommodating! We booked this for our trip to Cleveland to go to the R&R HOF & Rolling Stones Concert. I called and we were able to stop on way through get our Room key & leave our luggage! This made our trip a 100x easier.

No there was no breakfast but I knew that comfortable room that’s all I waited

There was just one thing on the paperwork it said welcome to our newly remodelled established my room was still being painted all the patchwork was done just the final coat
