SureStay Hotel by Best Western Portland City Center

Large, clean room with good airconditioning. Beds were comfortable and WiFi was excellent. They were Ok with us parking our car on their property before check-in and after check-out, which was very friendly.

It would be great if there was an extra toilet for guests who can not use the one in their room yet. The breakfast room is also the reception area and lacks a bit of character, but breakfast was better than expected so no complaints there. If you are a light sleeper I would suggest bringing ear plugs because the road can be noisy.

Nice stay the room was a decent size but has very cozy vibes, the bathroom wasn’t super fancy but did have a nice mirror with bright lights in there which was a nice touch. The damage deposit was also only $50 so that was nice compared to other hotels holding $300 from me. My absolute favorite though had to be the beds were just absolutely so comfy, I wanted to take them home. The sheets also felt nice and clean. Definitely recommend a stay there! Great parking and location close to lots!

There was a mirror over the bed which isn’t a huge deal but I am a little superstitious and have been told it’s bad luck etc etc to keep a mirror facing a bed.

The room was quiet for sleeping with the fan on, even tho a busy street is nearby and a Karaoke bar downstairs. They let me check in early (8:30 am) after I had flown all night. The location was fantastic for walking to/from the OHSU hospital campus and to the South Waterfront downtown (lower Tram terminal area). If others want to walk to Casey Eye Institute or OHSU hospital, it is easy to cross Sheridan and walk by the park - either along Terwilliger Blvd, or along SW 4th to the dead end and take a rustic path up the hill that joins Terwilliger Blvd about 200 yds from Casey Eye Institute.

The only improvement I would suggest is clean windows (they were dirty on outside) because the view was nice. Also would prefer bran muffins and stronger coffee, but otherwise decent variety for continental breakfast.

The room was very nice. It was very close to the casey eye Institute where we had appointments. There was a restaurant/bar below convenient for dinner or a drink Pretty quiet considering..

It's the same with any hotel but the little coffee packets they provide for in room coffee is weak..like drinking colored water..have to use more than 1 packet to make it stronger or the hotel industry needs to get stronger coffee Traffic was a little hectic getting around the construction in area

Scott and Amy are always kind and helpful to me every time I stay at the Sure Stay (Best Western) 4th avenue downtown Portland Oregon. Both are professional and seem to go above and beyond to assist and accommodate my needs whenever I stay there(which is often 😎🙂) I recommend the Best Western Sure Stay without hesitation whatsoever and strongly suggest it to anyone who is in the greater downtown Portland Oregon area budget or not.

The room was very comfortable. The bed was very soft. I loved the eco toilet. The chairs were comfy. The tub was nice. Breakfast was very convenient.

The location is kind of inconvenient. The water pressure is too low. The lighting is too dim unless I turn on all the lights. The air conditioner is kind of loud.

It was a good simple breakfast. Included Coffee, Bagels, Cold Cereal, & Mini Muffins. Clean area and very friendly Staff. The room was quiet, and the bed was extra comfortable. Nice Bathroom set up, with fresh towels. It has a connecting restaurant which was very delightful.

Need plugs for iPhone chargers to attach too. Other than that, everything else was great,

Took my son and his friend to concert.tv said no signal but lady came right up,pulled out cabinet,voowalaa. I left my favorite earrings .never heard back.enjoyed the bar,glad for late nite munchies.little overfried.the deposit seemed bit much.i would recomend and crash here again.

Surprisingly large rooms, clean. Front desk employee was helpful with the parking situation. A very nice bar called Suki's right below.

All I can say is get here before dinner time if you want to find parking. When I got there around 8, the desk staff was kind enough to move her own car so I could get a space. I also wouldn't leave any valuables in sight.

everything was perfect for me and my family. service was good staffs and rooms clean no smell, nice beds spacing nice fridge and microwave and breakfast was tasty, Friendly staffs thank you.

the view open windows see other hotel rooms windows, but over all was awesome and quiet and nice balcony that wished didn't be facing parking lot other rooms private space. Wasn't too bad.
