The room was comfy and efficient! We stayed here for Kumoricon and wanted a cheap place with easy access to the con center... this place didn't disappoint. It's near quite a few bus and light rail stops which made it a great choice for us since we didn't have a car. The breakfast was also really good! Overall a nice place.

For some reason, one of the faucet knobs fell off when I went to wash my hands. I was able to put it back on easily but I wasn't expecting it to pop off so easily. Since we were on the ground floor, I heard quite a lot of people walking or driving by; it didn't impact my sleep but my sister had a bit more trouble falling and staying asleep. Also the heater was set to Celsius so I couldn't figure it out at first, haha. But nothing too serious.

The hotel and our rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was very respectful and professional. The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent! The hotel was close to where I was presenting for a conference so it was easy to get from the hotel to the conference.

My room looked like it was in process of being fixed up a bit. The dresser was older and some of the drawers did not work correctly. But, I got a good deal on the hotel rooms and we were not in our rooms much at all, so I really did not care that the furniture was on the older side.

The hotel was under stress due to weather conditions impacting staff, fairly high non-seasonal occupancy due to displaced residents from surrounding districts (power outages, etc), yet the staff were friendly, considerate, efficient and effective.

The breakfast buffet foods were fine, but not top-notch; people with particular gastronomic or health-food expectations may or may not choose to use them day-on-day. This is nothing unusual for a conference-centre type place. There are other places to eat within walking distance.

This was a university run or operated place, I gather and sometimes these can be a bit dodgy. However, this place was like a decent hotel in all respects. The swimming pool was a a big plus, especially if you have kids and especially with the heat wave we had at the time. Lots of excellent food trucks in the area and still a university vibe and not really sure it was central but it was a very comfortable place. Another big bonus: free breakfast which was way more than the usual "continental". The only problem - bath tub didn't drain well but that could have been me!

Nice pool and conversation sitting area outside around the pool. Good, large-portion hot breakfast from 6:30-9:30 everyday. Nice restaurant and bar on site. Walking distance to many stores and eateries.

Huge laundry bins with dirty linens in the outer hallways making it hard to get by with luggage. Some guests disrespectfully left four rental scooters blocking back entrance making it hard to get in with luggage!

The location was perfect. 5 minutes tram ride to downtown. The tram stop was directly outside the front door of the conference centre. The check in process was easy. All of the staff were very helpful and courteous. The allocated room was lovely, spacious and clean. Coffee making facilities were provided. I took advantage of the small fitness which was located next to the pool area. I also used the restaurant / bar on 2 evenings and found the food to be very good and reasonably priced.

The breakfast could have been better. There was no change in the select each morning and too few seat to accommodate everyone who would have want to sit and seat.

The beds were comfortable. Pool was in a great location. My favorite coffee creamer. Clean and up dated. Nice gym.

Bar hours said closed at 9:30 but we came in at 9pm and they would not serve us drinks with are meals. There's no free water to drink. Had to pay $2 or more for the drinks. A water bottle refill station would be nice. Also cream cheese would be nice to add to breakfast. Couldn't figure out coffee maker in are room.

Friendly staff, and the breakfast was great. Located in a quiet area and felt safe. Rooms were air-conditioned, comfortable and clean, with all the toiletries needed for my stay. Complimentary cookie at check-in was a great touch. Recommend

After having to change my travel arrangements due to a family emergency, I should have booked dates that were refundable as I had to forfeit half of my booking.

The service at the front desk was impeccable. Catalia and the Assistant Manager were super professional when helping me through my situation. I booked a night through another travel website which presented a challenge and they handled it seemlessly. Also, the way the hotel is set up, you do not feel like you're in the middle of downtown Portland! It was very serene and the pool was well kept and very clean. Nice grounds to relax on. The breakfast that is included is also very good and just added to the value of the already great price I paid for both nights. If you need to stay in downtown Portland, I highly recommend if you are looking for something basic but comfortable and accomodating. All of the staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgable.

Clean Hotel situated in a quiet part of town. A very friendly and helpful receptionist in the morning for check out. A spacios and clean room waiting for me. More like *** than **

The receptionist in the evening didn’t explain me very well where my room is, so I had to go back down and ask again. Neither did she tell me where and until which time breakfast is. 9:30 as a last call on a Sunday morning is somewhat early and should have been pointed out to me. But the very friendly receptionist in the morning compensated for that. He went out of his way to snatch some breakfast for me and even thought of asking me if I were a vegetarian, which I am as a matter of fact. A true gentleman this receptionist is and really doing all he can to make the guest feel welcome and confortable!
