Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel

Cost more than we usually pay but less than when I booked so I was thankful. I was given about a $55.00 discount at the desk. Maybe for being a veteran on Memorial Day? The steak was the best I've had in years so the food was great and so was the margarita! For 2 people it cost us $120.00 before the tip. Rooms were very nice and comfortable and roomy, not small as I expected 250 SF to feel. If you need a microwave make sure to request one. The beds were very comfortable. Nice cool sheets and bedding. NOT memory foam which my back can't handle. Our view was of the lake. Nice but nothing amazing to look at. I actually requested the marina but got the lake. The guy gave me what he thought was an upgrade. I took his word for it. The overall hotel was very beautiful and made you feel like you were staying somewhere elegant. It was a busy place but very large. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I went down to the hostess desk to get a glass of milk because they didn't sell small cartons in the concession area. She got me a large glass of milk and didn't charge me for it. We got the breakfast as part of the initial booking. There was a card to fill out in the room for options and then put it on your doorknob before 2 am. They brought it at the time we specified on the card. It was hot and cost 54.00. I handed her the 30.00 coupon I was given at check in and signed for it. I don't think they charged me the difference as it wasn't on my receipt at all. There was no charge for parking which was wonderful. We took the dog for a walk. No paths in the woods but a walk along the boardwalk and out a long dock to some viewing areas. There were 2 other restaurants with outdoor seating and beautiful landscaping along the way so it wasn't all TOO city feeling and cement. My FAVORITE part of this place is that it is pet friendly but they don't give you a different room that smells like it's been sanitized having pets in it before.

The meal, though delicious could have cost a little less. We didn't even get appetizers. If there is any way to beef up the out door landscaping, out back especially, I recommend it.

Breakfast was fantastic we brought our dog and everything is very accommodating to the fur babies! Chris at the front desk was very nice! We asked him a question about breakfast and he answered it instantly. We got to chatting and he was generous enough to give me and my fiancé a complimentary breakfast card. Loved every part of that breakfast thank you Chris your girlfriend did an excellent job cooking our meals!! Hope you, your kids and dog are well!

Closing hours for the lobby bar was a bit early

Beautiful hotel right by the lake! The view from our room was amazing. We were right by the lake and you even felt like you were on a cruise. The hotel's restaurant was delicious. The bar had good drinks and service everywhere was excellent. The hotel is within walking distance to other rooftops and restaurants. Perfect place to stay for a weekend and just enjoy Erie. Would highly recommend it. It has a parking garage right next to the hotel.

Everything was perfect.

From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with smiles, accomodations and extra courtesies when they realized my mother, my wonderful traveling companion, had cancer. Extra comforters were brought to the room, the live band stayed and played longer to grant my mother's favorite song requests and a staff member paid for our supper and drinks at the hotel's bayfront restaurant overlooking the bay! It was a very special evening indeed. Thank you to all the staff (Danny, David, Cory, Ana, and Andrew & more who's names I've already forgotten) that made us feel very special and well cared for during our one night stay! Please tell the two men who played the live music out on the patio thankyou also for sharing their musical talents with us as well as their conversation and laughter following their set. The room was over looking the marina filled with the sailboats and the town skyline (can't go wrong with either view: marina or bay) and had a very nice large bathroom, wheelchair accessible, stocked with lovely towels, bath chair, hand-held shower sprayer and glorious old oak (men's cologne) smelling bath soaps, lotions and hand wash! The beds and pillows were inviting and oh so comfortable!! The room set up was smart and spacious. The fitness center is a dream! If you like to work out, stay here just for the center! Nicest I've ever seen at a hotel! The restaurant is just beautiful inside as much as outside. The bar was hoppin on Saturday evening and the atmosphere was lively and happy. The food was spectacular! The chef does an amazing job blending flavors with the entre choice. We had the clams, fried cheese and barramundi. All were absolutely delicious! The drinks were also great! I had 3 bikini martinis. Phenomenal! I'm ready to go on their website and buy Sheridan's whole bedroom & bathroom lineup!

Can't think of anything. I did spend more for this hotel, probably 2x what I would normally pay. But it was rated as one of the most popular location to stay on Lake Eerie and I have to agree! It was well worth it.

Staff was very nice. Room and bathroom were large. Restaurant food was good.

Feather pillows, breakfast vouchers were designated food, not ability to order a breakfast from menu which was not stated when adding breakfast to stay package. No access to lounge that was advertised at hotel.. again not specified when booking or on website.

We stared in a delux room on the private 8th floor. The lounge didn’t have evening snacks as advertised. And there wasn’t any breakfast on Sunday morning as advertised, which was odd because there was a breakfast monday morning.

The 8th floor lounge benefit of food needs to be clearly and accurately advertised and the front desk staff needs to be clear on what is offered and when. One staff member told us there would be breakfast served in the 8th floorlounge every morning, as advertized, and another staff member said only on weekdays. I also didn’t like being charged for daily parking. Cmon, just roll it in to the room rate. This was a slap in the face. It’s not like the hotel is in Manhattan. The huge parking garage should be free.

The view from our bay front room was beautiful. Location was great. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room appeared to be clean and was quiet.

Had to pay extra for parking. As if spending over $200 wasn't enough, they add an extra $14/day on for parking. No continental breakfast. Beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. For the amount we spent on the room, we thought it would be bigger. You're definitely paying for the view. While pretty, we'll be staying somewhere more affordable in future visits.

The location is spectacular. The hotel itself is very upscale and classy. The greeter, David, was wonderful. He brought our luggage to the room, made last-minute dinner reservations for us, and made sure we had everything we needed. The staff members at the desk were also very pleasant. They were so polite and professional. They genuinely seemed to be happy we were there!

The hotel never received our booking information from booking.com though the reservation showed as confirmed on my end. We spent more than an hour in the lobby sorting out that situation and ended up booking with the hotel directly and then getting a booking cancellation from booking.com customer service.

The view was spectacular and the Tall Ship Festival was going on, so was able to take some stunning photos for social media. The staff was accommodating and courteous. I would stay here again. Thanks!

Parking ramp was not very clean, hot and the arms were not working. Also, crowds of people were crossing in front of the ingress and egress to the parking ramp, which made it challenging and somewhat dangerous.
