Hilton Garden Inn Kennett Square

The room was clean and the bed super comfy. The location was very convenient and over all the stay was mostly comfortable.

The lighting in the bathroom was very poor. Not sure why the lighting was so dim. The shower literally took 35 minutes to finally get hot. Coming from a state that is in severe drought conditions, the wasted water was very disheartening. I would have overlooked the long wait time for hot water had it been an isolated incident but it happened every time I showered.

went to hot tub in morning was no sign telling me stay out chlorine levels were too high burning eyes nauseous was in there 15 mins before staff told me it was not to be used my kids eyes were also irritated even tho they were in the pool nearby chlorine from hot tub was that strong . blankets could have been thicker also

modern decor and cleanliness of lobby; tasty, hot breakfast; quiet environment,

everything was fine with the property except the cleaning crew missed something gross on the inside of the bathroom door. I didn’t call the front desk, but other than that, no complaints and everything else was clean.

Beds were comfortable, bathroom was nice, TV had the dish network, and many many channels to choose from, air/heat working well, breakfast was decent. Over all was a good place to stay for the price.

Kids were running and hanging out in the hallway nobody or staff told them to stop or go to their rooms, but when it came time to sleep around 10pm they all went to their rooms so it wasn't too bad. The rooms could use an update, looks like their rooms are 20 years behind adding USB sockets using blocks attached to old furniture doesn't work, and the wallpaper are starting to peal.

An early check that was very quick, the main hallway has a chic design, there is a small terrace outside with light music where we hanged out for a pleasant evening. The bar serves wines and a few beers.. The kids had a blast at the pool that was otherwise empty. The breakfast was a nice added bonus before heading to the Longwood Gardens that is in the close vicinity.

The staff was nice and the location was convenient, which is all that we were looking for since it was going to be a quick one night stay. Though the rooms were not ready when we arrived, we did not have to wait long, and everything was clean and nicely organized.

My only complain was there being no movies being available to rent or watch; the TV was a little outdated, but it wasn't a big deal. The free breakfast options weren't the best either, but we did go down late so I'm not sure if anything else was available earlier in the morning.

Very friendly front desk attendant who was accommodating and warm. Check in was quick. Location is great, we have stayed before and will again.

Rooms are a bit dated, the wallpaper is the bathroom is frayed along the floor which just seems un-Hilton like.

Pool was closed. Put people in the connecting room next to us even tho hotel was not full. Maid tried to come in at 9:30 on the morning we were checking out.

I didn't go to breakfast but my partner did said it was outstanding When I come to Kennett from Fl I always stay there the only down thing was the pool was not warm not heated enough but we used the hot tub but were looking forward to the pool after A long journey all was good ty

Due to Covid they had an ala carte menu by request and also a bagged breakfast which was very nice. The room was comfortable, centrally located to downtown Kennett Square and Longwood Gardens The staff was super nice and very accommodating with a special request for the down pillows to be removed because of allergies. We went to the convenience pantry for chips and pretzels and when there were none available the front desk staff found us some cheese crackers. Above and beyond so sweet, AND you can buy a jar of delicious mushroom soup to take home as a souvenir. How unique. The 24 hour coffee and tea bar in the front lobby was much appreciated

Despite our best effort to control the room temperature , it got very warm and a bit of mold issue in the bathroom. Just not up to Hilton Garden standards.
