Loved everything about this hotel! Perfect location in Lancaster County and it was walking distance to numerous historical sights. The service was exceptional from the front desk and the room was lovely. The whole inn was perfect in its ambience and warmth and would stay there again in a heartbeat!

There was nothing we didn't like, it was a really great stay there!

Convenient location, very close to bird-in-hand farmer's market and right next to a cute 50's themed diner. My room was spotless! I had read that the inn was super clean, and that seems to be very true. Also, I'm not sure if things have changed since other people left their reviews, but my room had a mini-fridge and hair dryer in it. The hair dryer was next to the clothing rack and not by the sink, which might be why others didn't see it. There are no microwaves in the rooms, but there's one on the first floor of the inn, in the hallway across from the main lobby and front desk. That's also where the vending machine and ice machine are located, right by the side exit door. You have to walk to the door to see them, and yes, unless you ask, you probably won't be told where these things are when you arrive. I wasn't told, I found them on my own. If your room is on the second floor toward the back of the inn, there's a rear staircase you can use to get to it right from the parking lot. That was really convenient for me because I went shopping and had to carry a lot of stuff back and forth, so it was helpful to be able to park my car right near the staircase. Overall, I found the inn charming, you sort of have to just explore within your room and within the inn itself. The main lobby appeared to have coffee and tea available at least during the day, although I didn't have any. Your room key will be an actual key, and it opens the entry/exit doors as well as your room door. I found that easier to keep track of, I just hooked it to my regular key ring while staying there. Some people would rather have a card, but the key was not an issue for me. Weirdly, there was no hand soap by the sink, I had to reach into the bathtub area to get soap from the dispenser any time I washed my hands. You may want to bring your own hand soap if that's going to be a problem for you. That brings me to the only thing I really didn't like...

The view from my room.

There were shops and restaurants nearby, but it wasn't overblown with touristy stuff. Nice, quiet, relaxed, and a great restaurant next door.

No breakfast offerred but the coffee was good. We did have an experi ence where the 3 bottle soap, shampoo, and lotion dispenser fell off the shower wall waking us at 6:00 rather startling. Note the motel staff were made aware and stated these were newly installed w a gummy backing only. Steted they will take care of it. Though next to busy intersection noise level was minimal. Could hear the sounds of horse and buggy throughout the night but, that was pleasant!

Coat of dust on the chair rail...e floor Found a spill of about 5-6 unknown pills on the floor at the foot of 1st bed, so doubt the floor had been vacuumed. Like many facilities perhaps short staffed(?) Not a big deal but don't want kids to ingest...

I liked the decor, especially the quilts in the rooms. The rocking chairs outside add a nice touch too.

Tip: please remove the shampoo, conditioner and body wash containers from in the shower. Both of us expected to use some of it and were disappointed that there was nothing. If you aren’t going to fill them, please remove them so we don’t get into the shower and find out there is nothing. A dispenser or jug with drinking water to fill our water would be great too. Of course breakfast would be nice but we went to Hudson botanical and really enjoyed theirs. Glad there was something nice nearby.

I loved the location and the friendliness of the staff. A meadow of cows was outside my window. That was very cool. We felt like we were in the country and we were only a mile from the shopping areas. It was very quiet. We got to check in early.

The bathroom sink was outside the bathroom and the soap dispenser was inside the shower. There wasn't a refrigerator in the room but the staff put our stuff in their refrigerator downstairs. I am elderly with bad knees and didn't realize the only way upstairs was by walking up the steps. Wish I had gotten a room downstairs.

I liked the location. Close to restaurants..shopping . No hassle parking. The beds are comfortable. AC works well.. the room decor was pretty 2 rocking chairs... carpet in good condition. Ample storage.. drawers to store your clothes. Small fridge. It was a comfortable room

Apparently when I arrived...there was a problem with the cleaning staff. There was a no call no show. Rooms were not ready. We waited over 2 hours to get to the room and I ended up having to finish getting the room cleaned my self with the help of my family as there was only one cleaning staff and I was getting pretty tired. The trash was out so we made the beds and got fresh towels and toiletries from the storage. There should be a backup plan for staff calling out especially on the weekends. Desk staff was very apologetic. Not their fault. That was my only gripe.

Although older the place was immaculate. Exactly what we needed for an overnight stay..

Took us probably 20 minutes to half hour to register. We were told constantly that she was used to working the nite shift. Wanted to use 2 credit cards but she did not know how to do that. When we checked out we were over charged by almost $100. Day clerk was able to find the mistake an refund the money. She was very professional. Still would stay there again. Price and cleanliness are most important to us.

It was a very nice, clean place. Loved the room it was decorated really cute and it had a couch, tv, large bed, and electric fireplace which was nice. It was also kept very clean.

The only negative thing about the room was noises at night, but I am also a very light sleeper. The heater/ac unit would sometimes make a buzzing noise that would wake me up, and also when the people upstairs got a shower I could hear the pipes ringing. But, my partner is not a light sleeper and didn’t notice any of it so depends on what will wake you up.
