I loved the location, just steps away from Market Square. There is a CVS across the street that I could grab water and snacks from. The hotel and staff were great. The hotel, the staff, the restaurant, location was all good. There was plenty of places to eat within a few steps. The famous Primanti Brothers, City Works, Subway, Barcadia and a nice pizza place were just a few choices in Market Square. I really liked the options that were so close.

I only had one issue. Our flight was canceled last minute, so we had to stay an extra 2 days. I went to the front desk to ask if there were rooms, and he said there were. The rate through the hotel was $130 more PER NIGHT. It kind of made me feel taken advantage of. I went ahead and booked the 2 nights, but was able to cancel the 2nd night and stay at the Industrial around the corner for $125 less. I know I was in a bind, so I accepted the fee, but it seemed slimy.

Parking situation was very unclear. I was not told when I checked in that I needed to get my parking validated and handled through the hotel. I asked about it the morning after I checked in and the gentleman just told me I could use my credit card to go in and out and it would still be $30/day (wrong answer!). I was going in and out of the parking garage and ended up spending a lot more than I should have. It was charging me $20 or $30 every time. The manager tried to help at the end, but I still ended up overpaying and it was a bit frustrating. The other thing that was a bit frustrating was that my room was never made up during the four days that I was there. We never had a do not disturb sign on the door, and I just thought that was sort of strange for as much as we paid per night.

The Room was spotless and comfortable. The Hotel is well-maintained. The Parking lot is accessible through the hotel lobby even though it is public parking. The Keurig, microwave and refrigerator in each room is very convenient. The staff is professional & attentative. Very short walk to Market Square, coffee shops, restaurants etc.

One very minor issue, that would NEVER stop me from going back but nevertheless surprised me. The shower floor is slippery! I was very surprised and took extra care. It haa rough finish but oddly, the sluicing water negates any safety it could offer. Just take care. There are grab bars, fortunately.

The location is great, right by market square so there are are some great options for food within a few minutes walk of the hotel. We were there for a conference at the convention centre - when dry, this was a pleasant walk with lots of interesting buildings to look at. The room was a good size, it's smart and very clean. The rooms don't have housekeeping every day, which was fine with me - I was there for a week so I requested housekeeping once after a few days. However, in between that, we were able to ask for extra coffee pods at the front desk which is the main thing I would need from daily housekeeping. The staff are friendly and helpful. I requested a quiet room when booking - when I checked in, I asked to make sure and they changed the assigned room to make sure it was quiet. The room was wonderfully quiet every day but one. On the Friday night of my trip, I was woken very late at night (I think it was about 2am) by a group in the room next door, who were shouting and being really loud. I tried using ear plugs, listening to things with noise cancelling ear buds, and could still really hear them. I had work the next day, so after about an hour, in desperation, I called reception and asked them to help. Within 5 minutes, the noise had completed stopped. Thank you lovely person on reception! I asked for advice on a couple of things and they provided helpful guidance. On the last day of my trip, it was snowing and I had a few hours before my flight, so I wanted to just hang out in the reception. I asked for permission of course, and was able to have free coffee and use a plug socket to charge my phone, which I really appreciated. It was excellent value and I would stay there again if returning to Pittsburgh.

The corridors aren't as smart as the lobby and rooms. But the lobby and rooms are more important anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

The hotel was clean and very elegantly decorated. The modern style was eye catching

Using the card in the elevator with other guests all trying to put their cards in with your room number was frustrating. The amount of money paid for the stay, should have included parking. Also, no breakfast. Coffee finally came out after asking. Short on help we found out because someone called in sick. I booked through a 3rd party site. I asked for a receipt at checkout and was told they could not give me one. I would need to get it from the company I set it up with.

The location is excellent and easy to walk to many sites! The breakfast was very delicious and the staff at the restaurant were great. We also found the front desk staff to be wonderfully helpful and friendly. The room was really clean and comfortable. We also had a nice city view in our room.

The parking lot is part of a larger building complex and on the very last day, we were unable to even re-enter the lot due to it being full. This was ok for us as we were about to check out, but otherwise could have posed some issues. That being said, all the other times we went in and out it was fine.

Perfect location to do “all the things” in Pittsburgh.

The only issue was with the parking garage and payment. It’s very confusing. They didn’t add it to our bill but told us we could pay using a kiosk as we were leaving. However, when we got to the bottom of the garage to leave, we got charged an additional $7 after we had already paid $30 because we had not left in 15 minutes, it had been 18 minutes since we had paid at the kiosk. No one told us anything about time limits and the parking attend only shrugged it off, blaming the hotel for not warning us.

Location is good for a game at PNC park (walking distance). Close to restaurants, pubs, et. CVS right across the street for anything you may have forgot.

Tricky to get from parking garage to hotel. 2 different elevators. Room was nice, but our a/c machine was very loud and rattled. TV really needed to be mounted to the walk instead of on the counter. No information to find places, what’s available in hotel, etc in the room. Had to explore. Not sure what amenities were available.

The person who answered our phone call before the visit, the person who checked us in and the person who checked us out were all knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. This location was prime and all of downtown was accessible. Room was quiet and huge.

Not much! Was a little costly, and was difficult to navigate the immediate streets when driving. But was easy and family-safe for walking around so we didn't drive much. Concessions downstairs was a bit expensive.

this location is great if you are looking for things to do in downtown and is close to a lot of places to eat and things to do. The room was clean and comfortable. Parking is next to the hotel and that was great.

Some of the areas close by were not too safe. One of the front desk support personal was not friendly and the hotel knows it. For the price I would like to have some type of breakfast and not have to pay $15 person because I eat a light breakfast.
