Definitely a nicer hotel. The staff was friendly. Rotating breakfast that had a good variety of options, from pancakes to breakfast tacos. Decent walking distance from most places - close to the baseball/football stadiums, across the street from the Museum of Illusions, a short walk to several restaurants/bars, and barely a 3-minute walk to Stage AE for concerts/events.

I didn't like the parking fee tacked on upon check-in. I understand they "need" to do it being in a city, I just wish it would be more transparent and less of a surprise. The beds were also minorly uncomfortable in my opinion. I also wish breakfast was served for a little longer on weekdays but other than that I had no complaints.

The location is perfect for game day

Check out is 11 but had cleaning lady knocking at my door at 9 am waking me up to see if she could clean the room.. I brought it up to management upon checking out. The manager told me it’s an acceptable policy to wake up guest because the cleaning staff isn’t sure if someone is in the room or not. He was smug about it as well. All I wanted was an apology and to hear that it was out of line to awaken a sleeping guest in this way. Contacted Hyatt and they didn’t care this policy is being used at their venue. Had a good trip up till then.

Location was amazing to the Benedum Center. Beautiful walk by the water and over the bridge. Felt safe for being in the city.

The lady when we checked in was not very friendly or informative. I had to ask about where to park and where the elevators were. She didn’t give us any information about the breakfast. The hallway also smelled of pot. Even my 8 year old daughter noticed. When they make a comment “I thought this was smoke free?”, not usually a good sign.

Our stay was the best, the room was absolutely amazing, just the general decor was very nice we liked it a lot. The bed was so comfortable i didn't want to get out until the last minute. The grandkids wanted to stay at our hotel after seeing it and since the couch was also a pull out bed they were able to with now problem! The walk-in shower was also impressive, the temperature and water pressure was perfect! We were already extremely happy with the stay but the delicious complimentary breakfast really sealed the deal. They had fresh fruit, Juice, coffee, bagels, sausage, eggs, and hash browns. It was so good!!

There literally wasn't anything with the hotel that we disliked. We were visiting for my son's birthday on the fourth of July so town and the whole city in general was extremely packed with people and traffic but all-in-all it was a great experience we will be returning 100%.

We were guided in by the Parking Lot Manager “Dave” and given a quality parking spot, due to the size of our vehicle. The entire staff at the desk & bar were very kind. Our room wasn’t quite ready, so we had a drink at the bar til I checked back with the desk. Upon checking back in, they were unable to give me the King Room I initially booked, and gave us a Double Queen instead. I was very disappointed…but they were willing to grant us a discount due to the issue. We were in town for the Ed Sheeran Concert…and the place was booked up and sold out. The staff were very kind and hospitable even though they were overloaded by many technical difficulties. The room was spacious and comfortable!

The A/C could have been a bit stronger/colder…but it was fine.

Room was large and had a nice shower/toilet room with the vanity area within the main room. The room was very quiet and the doors did not slam loudly which is annoying in the early morning hours. The breakfast was good and had a reasonable selection of offerings. There is no restaurant or bar facility within the hotel. There are many places to eat and drink within walking distance.

I did not like the $26 parking fee.

Breakfast offered enough choices to cover most peoples tastes. Location was walkable distance to multiple restaurants.

The website led you to believe there was an onsite restaurant and bar as well as a take and go area with sandwiches, etc. There were a few items to purchase at exorbitant prices( like $5.00 for one cookie), but not to the extent that the website led you to believe.I also was disappointed the room did not have a microwave. For the price, I felt that should have been included.

Location was excellent. We could get easily to downtown on subway which station was across the street (from rear elevation). THE SUBWAY IS FREE! Breakfast was good- with sausages, yogurts and fruits. Room was big, beds comfortable.

There was no microwave in the room. But we took food we bought to the buffet downstairs and heated there. So, it was not a big problem, but some kind of inconvenience.

Please inform people ahead of time that you have to pay for parking. Was disappointed when i booked ahead. but when i arived there was a severe upcharge also the manager at the desk i asked about a first responders discount. He was very rude and told me off while laughing and carrying on with other customers at the bar who had drank way too many and were almost disruptive to other hotel guests

I loved the location! It was walking distance to some great restaurants and to PNC park if you want to take in a baseball game. I also loved that it had on-site parking. The room was also a great size.

I wish there were vending machines on the floors. I would have loved to grab some bottled water or snacks without having to go to the lobby.
