SpringHill Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh North Shore

Breakfast was great. The employees were wonderful they were very friendly and helpful. The one young lady it was her birthday and we sang to her. Oh how happy she was made us feel good. I plan to stay there in the future. And we did enjoy the pool!! My grandson thought there should be more than drawing board on the wall. This was the first we ever saw something like that which is a great idea. It entertains the kids and maybe adults.

The heating unit made noise. I did report it to front desk and the maintance man did come and work on it. It was better the second night. We had 2 cars and I thought the one was free to park so we took the second car to my family’s house to park. I didn’t realize that it was $27 to park one car. I thought one car was free THATS why we moved 2nd car. When I got my email I realized I was charged for 1 car. I did call the hotel and was told 1 car was $27.00 no free parking. They were very helpful.

EVERYTHING!!! The closeness to Heinz Field was a 5 minute walk, PNC Park was right across the street, the Strip District was 6 minutes away by car (and you didn't have to get on the major highways), the continental breakfast had everything you could ask for, the room was spacious and clean, the bed was just like being at home, the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful and check-in and check-out was a snap. I've kept my parking pass so I know where I want to stay on my next trip. LOVED IT!!!

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. If you want to enjoy a sporting event or just visit the nearby tourist sites, this is the hotel you want to stay at!!!

The room was a very good size given the amenities. We had a mini-fridge and microwave and could have setup here for a while if necessary. The space and flow of the room was nice and we had all of the items we needed including plenty of pillows. The location is very good, especially if you are staying for sports or museums. It is a little bit of a walk to the core downtown area, but it is pleasant to walk over the bridge in my opinion. The views from my room were not the greatest, but from just outside the property itself you do get a nice view of the skyline across the river. The attached restaurant and bar named 'SOHO' was very good. We had great service from the bartender both days (they even remembered our order!) and it was kind of fun to watch the baseball fans pour in before a game and mingle.

One of the two elevators was out of service my entire stay. I would have expected it to be fixed sooner. Considering we were on the 9th floor that did slow things down a bit in terms of getting up/down the property.

Location is good. Convenient to downtown. Nice breakfast.

Needed towels and washcloths. As ii was 2 in afternoon of 2nd day and room had not been cleaned I asked housekeeping staff I saw in hall. She said she would not be person going to my room and she would give me towels but I would have to go to front desk for washcloths. Which I did. Front desk wrote it down and i .also said it was not necessary for the room to be cleaned. Upon returning to hotel around 5 I found 2 washcloths stuck outside on handle of door. So I got what I needed just thinking it was lacking in service

I loved the location.

I did not like that parking was an extra cost, or the fact that they raised the prices due to the events going on. If I am paying over $500 a night for a room for one night I should be able to get room service without a problem, but they didn't even answer the phone.

I liked how comfortable and clean the suite way. The location was also conveniently located near the subway station.

I had issues with the wifi on both my laptop and mobile device. Sometimes I would receive a message that I couldn't connect because I had to disable the proxi on my phone. Another thing I didn't like is that there weren't many breakfast options for vegans and vegetarians.

It was very clean and smelled super good once you walked in. They gave me a parking pass to park in the lot before my check in time since we arrived early. That helped so much! We went somewhere else for breakfast but they did have options to choose from which was nice.

I did book online and already had a reservation. When I said I had to check in, they lady said “let me see if we have anything to accommodate you” which I thought was strange since I already booked a room. Then followed up with “it does look like we can accommodate you today”. I had other people with me and they thought it was odd too. Especially if she were to say they couldn’t then we would have to find something else or go home when we already came in from out of state.

We like that it is in walking distance to Acrisure Stadium and a lot of other different shops.

The pool was not cleaned. Very disappointed since my husband and sons brought along their swim trunks and did not use them because of that fact.

good price for the location. friendly helpful staff.

room smelled of smoke when we arrived. lobby was extremely cold. no sheets on hand for the pull out bed had to get them from front desk. I was told parking was included with my stay but had to pay for parking.

The breakfast was good especially on Sunday when one of the ladies were singing it was so nice

Enough towels set in the room we had 4 people and had 2 sets of towels also get rid of the itchy extra blankets
