Holiday Inn Express - Dallas Downtown, an IHG Hotel

Wonderful location. Walkable to multiple Dallas landmarks, restaurants, bars, etc. Room was very comfortable, loved the bed, and it had everything that I needed. Morning breakfast was small, but was hot, and still had several options. One morning I had a cheese omelet and bacon, and second day I had a banana and a bagel.

There is no parking, but there was a paid lot four blocks away that allows for an endless in and out option. The property was minimally needing some facilities work, but I know construction and notice everything. My room needed some painting touch ups, the bathroom fan was a tad loud, and the hallway carpet needed a better vacuum job. But overall, the place was clean,and quiet, and I was completely comfortable.

The hotel has an excellent location. You are walking distance from many Dallas interesting places like the House of Blues, the Reunion Tower…

It doesn’t have a parking and the staff at the reception sent you us to a parking lot that was not the one we were supposed to park to have the hotel discount prices. The sheet that covered the box spring had a food stain that I guess had been there like forever. When riding the elevator back to the room after breakfast we found folded towels on the floor that a housekeeper picked up to take to a room. At Breakfast tables were not cleaned between one guest and the next. For me the cleaning was an issue to address at the hotel.

The front desk person, Dax?, was fantastic. Parking was confusing, but she was very kind and patient even though I know others were upset. I accidentally left a very valuable birthday gift at the front desk when checking in and she made sure to keep it safe and get it back to me.

The parking situation right now is really bad while they build their own parking garage.

Very comfortable room in a great location in downtown Dallas! Paid extra for a city view and it did't disappoint, beautiful view of Reunion tower. The included breakfast was also great, much better than I would usually find in a hotel. Manager Neal was also very helpful so thank you to him. Would definately return for my next stay in Dallas and absolutely recommend!

The rooms were clean. There's a gym & a washer/dryer room (take your own detergent). The location is walking distance to restaurants & entertainment.

There's no parking on site. You have to park in a lot separate from the location and pay a daily rate.

The hotel location is perfect here in Dallas Downtown. Near to the train station is a great point to avoid an 80 USD taxi/uber ride. The room had a great size, the bathroom had all I needed. The breakfast was pretty complete although not too many fresh fruit options.

I missed having oats and some more healthy options at breakfast time

The location was good, just around the corner from JFK memorials and only a couple of minutes' walk from streetcar stops. Walked into the city center and to American Airlines arena with ease. Also arrived a little early and was given an early check-in time which was fantastic.

Accessibility was a slight issue due to ongoing works around the exterior of the building. A very minor inconvenience, however. The hotel bar is still closed also.

honestly you can’t find a better hotel for the price in that area. it was definitely a great value and the room was perfect. it was my wife and our 4 year old. we got the executive king room which had a couch and tv for the little one and then our own setup. again…outstanding value.

it was a little noisy. we were right next to the ice maker and the walls are thin so you could here the people upstairs or people in the bathroom.

Its a nice location in the heart of the city walking distance from the key tourist attractions and various cool restaurants. The breakfast is very generous and had an admirable spread of items Very helpful and courteous staff at the reception. Hassle free check in process

The rooms could be a bit bigger as there was hardly any space to move around and to even keep the luggage.

The room was comfortable and the location was fine. The free coffee was very welcome. In fact, for machine coffee it was quite good.

The toiletries were rather modest so I used my own. There is a train line quite close by although I’m hard of hearing and my partner can’t hear a thing when he removes his hearing aides so it didn’t really disturb us. I really only heard it when I was awake.
