The Bishop Arts Hotel By Bluelofts

The rooms are themed! And there was privacy. The place was very quiet and comfortable. Beds were comfy. They have garment steamers. Hotel is located very close to Bishop Arts shopping street area! The hotel is gated, which feels safe.

Clean, stylish and spacious room with comfortable bed. Tram stop right across the road only 10 minutes to downtown Dallas and short walk to Bishop Arts dining. Staff were friendly and helpful in their communication. Contactless check in was handy as we arrived late in evening.

Note for overseas travellers that check in may be tricky if you do not provide a US phone number. When booking we provided overseas number (as we did not have US number) which we did not have access to when in the US. Day before check in we hadn't received instructions for contactless check in and it was only after calling them that I found out they would be texting (not emailing) and needed a US number which luckily we had arranged upon arriving. They were very helpful during the process though but a heads up to communicate early with them to make sure you have details for arrival. Also note there is limited staff presence on site and we were unable to store our luggage after checkout.

The hotel and rooms were super cute/unique and spacious. The pool was beautiful. The property was a 15 minute walk to the shops and bars on Bishop and a close drive to other attractions like the Farmer’s Market and the Sixth Floor Museum. The hotel staff were not on site but the instructions for accessing the hotel were very clear, and while the staff were available to answer questions, I did not have a need to reach out during my stay. The hotel is in a safe area and parking is easy/private.

The room was beautiful and comfortable bed.

There was not one human in sight. Everything was done via Text, its always good to come to a Hotel and see a welcoming face. My collogues and I did not see anyone. The lights were out in the hallway so it was very creepy. I am not sure if anyone saw that we checked out, but that is the only thing I did not like.

it’s a little confusing to get access to the hotel because they send you the access codes virtually after completing a short form, but the staff was very helpful by phone and available at all hours

Very nice gated area with excellent cleanliness and amazing staff updates through messaging!

The only thing I would add in all the rooms is a full body mirror. It was the only downside to our stay. Other than that everything was excellent.

I appreciated the gated parking lot. The hotel and the room were nicely decorated, which added a cultural and appealing element. Check-in/out was contactless. I asked to the cleaning staff for assistance and they were very nice and helpful.

It was convenient and located in a great area. I liked all the codes and knowing we were safe. The room was comfy and hotel was cute!

I just think it lacked some things that normal hotels have. We did not have extra sheets for the sofa bed and with no daily cleaning, we did not know where to get those things.

trying to find the property was a challenge. the signage was poor. parking was not on Zang and the number 975 Zang was not to be found. It was found on 5th st with the name Chatelet. coffee was not good. no staff around to ask questions

Decor was pleasant and inviting

No one attended in person EVER during my 3-night stay. Thus, when the water to make coffee in the lobby ran out, there was no coffee. Same, when the pods of coffee ran out,there wasn’t coffee. They said on the phone it was because of Covid, but I didn’t find it very pleasing
