Embassy Suites Lubbock

Looks like an older hotel but I chose it because I stayed at an Embassy Suites in Amarillo and liked the hotel there. I was not impressed with the outside but the staff changed my mind immediately. The front desk staff was friendly but the bar staff, breakfast staff, and cleaning staff were awesome every single day of our 3 day stay. Every single one of the staff members we passed asked how we were doing and if we needed anything. They were so nice! My one complaint about Amarillo was the unfriendly staff and Lubbock staff blew them away! We ate at the bar one night and it was amazing. Even the chef came out and checked on us. We ate breakfast everyday and it was all good with made to order omelets. The cute little outside area for smoking was nice as well and clean.

I wish hotels would go back to cleaning rooms daily and replacing coffee and towels. Of course I need clean towels and coffee for 3 days.

Breakfast was great. I had an omelet made to order both days. The snacks and complimentary drinks from 5:30-7 were nice. The pool was great. The rooms were spacious, and well insulated so we didn't hear noises around us from other guest walking by or in rooms next to us. The staff was super nice and the rooms were clean.

The room we were placed in was right next to the units for the kitchen and air-conditioning. I didn't get a good night's sleep because about 4 am it sounded like planes were taking off and landing. So in the future I will ask not to be in room 230, 229, or 228.

The rooms were very clean. We loved the breakfast on Sat/Sun. mornings. My favorite was the delicious omelette made to my specific taste. Cooks were fabulous and the hostess taking the orders was great. We loved the seating area and all of the greenery around the atrium areas. Loved the service at breakfast time.

We did not like the tiny bathroom, and at first we thought it was strange to have a sink in the bedroom. The 250 dollars a night, seemed very steep for the type of room we got. The rooms need a lot of updating/renovating.

I had a “Do Not Disturb” sign on my door and was disturbed twice, waking me up, on the day I was checking out, asking if I wanted extra towels.Then I got a call asking me if I had a late checkout because it wasn’t obvious in the computer and I specifically asked for late checkout online and at checkin. When checking out I gave the keys and my room number to the lady behind the desk and she proceeded to check out another guest, she even asked me my last name which wasn’t even the same as the person she checked out. They were using guest points and I went through a third party booking.

The staff was courteous and friendly. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The bar was fun and staff also very helpful and service was prompt. The breakfast was better than I expected, it was a real breakfast. It was hot and there were plenty of it. There were plenty staff on hand at all times for assistance. Parking was close by. There were eating establishments within walking distance. The hotel is beautiful. The price was reasonable. I would go back again.

The staff is beyond amazing and very honest. I forgot my husbands new sweater in the closet and didnt realize it till we got home to NM... i called and they had it and is sending it to me.. i cant express how much i appreciate them. Bea was a great help in that department. If im ever in Lubbock again, this will be the only place ill stay. The breakfast too was fantastic and the fact that they have a bar and restaurant inside yhe hotel made our long trip even better. Once we checked in, we didnt need to leave again.. 10/10 for sure.

location was great, loved the complimentary happy hour, breakfast was good (even though we did not get to order omelets), and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Michael at the check in desk was very friendly and helpful.

Saturday breakfast omelet service did not start until 7:30 am so we had to eat buffet due to a meeting time at 8am. we were disappointed to not get the delicious omelets. (Our tv’s took forever to connect with satellite which was aggravating but not sure what was going on with that.)

We love staying at this hotel. It is a wonderful place to gather with family!

The rooms really need a good remodel. The furniture and fixtures are worn. Also, the staff was picking up the breakfast food as people were making their plates. Staff picked up food as an elderly customer was attempting to make her plate.

The entire staff was friendly and attended to all my needs during my stay. The hotel was also very quiet so. my nights were peaceful and got plenty rest with such comfortable pillows. I the complimentary breakfast also was a special way to enjoy my stay while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the large patrium . I highly recommend staying at this location

I have nothing to say that could have been done better. Everything met my expectations and then some. I will stay here again and most definitely recommend anyone else's stay.

Location was little off the grid, behind a bank parking lot. The building was well maintained and nice greenery inside the building also very private. having two TV was nice. . Complimentary drink hour and costom order breakfast was very good.

Room size was okay, you have to go around the bad to get out, the couch room made it roomier, Bathroom was very small and sometimes smell comes from the bathroom
