The location was easy to find and had adequate parking. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The gym was good, it had a good mix of different types of workout equipment. It was nice to have free washers and dryers.

A few small pieces of workout equipment were missing and the workout mats need replacing. It might be a good idea to refresh the paint and make minor repairs in the room.

The front desk personnel were above and beyond helpful. They were pleasant, friendly, informative about restaurants etc. Patrick always had a smile and a friendly greeting. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The towels and amenities were great. I loved the sharing cupboard. I didn't use any of the items, but I hope every hospitality chain follows your lead. Excellent marketing. I will definitely stay there again if I'm in the area.

One of the burners on the stove top was not working properly. I mentioned this on the way out. The big florescent light over the bathroom sink started out dim, then illuminated to full power on the first couple of days. After that, it never did get any brighter than a dim, low light. Also the aluminum light cover is very rusted and an eyesore.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming to the city. The suites were equipped with everything we could've needed. Everything seemed clean, and the value was reasonable for the stay.

There were a few odd potential miscommunications. Staff did knock once or twice on our door, despite the do not disturb sign being in place. Someone was usually always at the desk, but sometimes it seemed like someone had stepped away for a long time.

Perfectly functional room with comfy bed and decent shower. The room had a small kitchen which was appreciated although no cutlery or crockery was provided. However, we were able to borrow some items from the reception which was a thoughtful touch.

Reception and corridors a bit 'institutional' in feel although that is not an issue once you get to your room.

The staff was incredible. I booked through a 3rd party site for the 1st night. When I booked a 2nd night the desk staff informed she could provide a better rate directly through the hotel. It is very refreshing to see someone want to provide the best for their guest.

Would have preferred a traditional continental breakfast but the prices of the a la carte items was very affordable.

The bathroom wasn't clean especially the shower. There was mold around the soap tray

Musty smell in hallway and slightly in room. Transition from bath to shower nozzle was not fully functional, but management was appreciative to know this at checkout.

We stay. Exclusively at Candlewood when we visit San Angelo. If we had complaints about the hotel we wouldn’t stay there.
