Wingate by Wyndham San Angelo

Mike, the maintenance personal. Even though he was off duty that day, he came to the airport to give me a ride to the hotel when I got stuck there all by myself without rides to go no where. He truly exceeded my expectation. He saved my entire trip to Texas after American Airline put me on the flight to San Angelo while I was promised that I would have no problem finding a ride to Abilene from there. (after they delayed one flight and canceled the rescheduled one). Mike is a true hero to me, also not to forget to mention the sweet lady at the front desk for the evening shift who went above and found Mike for me.

The cleanness of the bathroom. I saw the toilet was not cleaned as I saw hairs and urine stuck on the back of the toilet seat. The location of the towel rag inside the shower stall. Not practical at all. The lady in charge for the breakfast counter was a bit too nosy. She saw me taking an extra cup of coffee for my husband came to pick me up and she was reporting about it to the front desk associate while i was still present in the lobby. Not nice feeling as I was departing the hotel.

All of the employees were always smiling! And cleaning, every time I went downstairs there was somebody vacuuming the carpet or wiping. Windows or tabperiod.

At 1st!! We had no water pressure on the 4th floor in the shower. I told the front desk. The Front lady wrote a note and turned it in . we returned from our day of shopping, and they replaced the shower head! So this was Not a dislike at the end of the day. .I will be back. I recommend this place.

The facility is well kept and modern. The bed was great and so were the pillows. Breakfast was good

The girl who checked us in at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug 20 was not friendly or professional. She finally asked if I had stayed with Wingate before and I said no but she told us nothing regarding breakfast or anything at all but did tell us to enjoy. I was the one who thanked her! No response from her. Weird

A very functional hotel, if nothing special to write home about. Rooms were quite big, and everything worked as it should. Location is neither overtly touristy nor right on the main roads, but it offers a nice mixture of both. Restaurants in the area are very good (I can definitely recommend the Taco place across the street: fast and affordable). Good value for money.

No negatives. Neighbors were slightly loud, but I think that had more to do with the people than the hotel/room.

Breakfast is always on point everytime I visit and stay at Wingate. The fact that I'm only a minute or 2 from my son, a few steps from chic fil a, and maybe 5 minutes from Walmart is a plus for me.

The bed was comfy, but needs some wd40 or needs to be replaced. It squeaks from any little movement u make. So that made for sleepless nights. Other then that everything was good.

breakfast was hot and very adequate. attendant was very helpful and kept everything clean.

Our rooms were close together but we were on the first floor near the front desk right next to an exit door. It wa very busy and noisy. A loud voiced person was going up and down that hall at 4:30 am. Everything else was great.

Good value, clean and newer furnishings

The only negative is mold in the track of the shower door. If the housekeeper only cleans with the door open, they will not see what a customer sees while showering with the door closed. Otherwise everything was great!

The peace and quiet!!! The ac was amazing! The day staff were super nice. The night lady ehhh.

We enjoyed our stay. You do need more towels, wash rags in the rooms and water bottles because the water pressure isn't very good.

Convenient, clean.

Refrigerator type tractor trailer parked in the back parking lot ran all night long. Quite annoying!!! Need to insist tractor trailers park off the motel property. Besides it took.up the entire back.parking lot parking spots. Less places for potential customers because of one customer with a tractor trailer. Not very smart.

It was nice and quiet. It was Sunday and there were not very many guests. We were able to get some good rest to prepare for surgery the next day.

It was clean but not very clean. One of the lamps next to the bed didn't work.
