Homewood Suites Williamsburg

Location to Busch Gardens was very good. Room was clean. The staff was very friendly. Our bath tub clogged up and they were up to fix it in 5 mins, and fixed it quickly. When we asked for more towels they brought them up quickly. Beds were very comfortable. It was great having a suite instead of just a room with beds. The breakfast was very good for being included. Lots of options. Overall, it was a nice and could not have asked for more!

David, at the front desk has remembered for the last 2 of my 3 stays with you. He made me feel special. He's always so friendly and nice. He's a joy to be around. I book there because of him. At breakfast one day, one of the heating pans was leaking all over the counter and floor. Ty got a mop, cleaned it up and greeted other guests with a friendly Hello. A little bit later several cups of coffee were spilled at the elevator. Ty got the mop, cleaned it up and still greeted other guests with a friendly and happy Hello. I don't know that I would have been smiling. The staff there is wonderful.

The breakfast was wonderful for the most part and the staff made sure that fresh, hot food was on the food bar. The hotel is also in an easily accessible area with a lot of nearby places to dine.

We stayed two nights and the first morning the breakfast had quite a bit of choices (basic choices that most people would like), but the second morning the choices were not as basic and more geared towards specific tastes. I would like to see the basic eggs and a meat each morning to go with the other choices. Having some sort of hash and biscuits and gravy on the same day didn't leave many options if you just wanted something basic.

My husband ate the breakfast on Saturday morning and he stated he had no complaints at all. The location was good and the set time for breakfast was excellent. Since I didn't try the breakfast on this trip, I will the next time I visit.

There were 2 things I didn't like about the stay. One of the bathrooms had to be plunged a few times and it wasn't for being stopped up or anything. It just seemed to have issues flushing. The other thins is the kitchen sink kept being stopped up. The water would go out very slow.

Everything! The only reason I gave it a 9 in rating versus a 10 is because we all need goals in life otherwise we become complacent, LOL! I am all about nice people and cleanliness! The entire staff was amazing! Very little attention usually goes into thanking the people who clean these rooms, they work hard and they are never at the front desk to be thanked for it. My son & I thanked them every time we saw them. This place is amazingly clean! Management, just a reminder- take care of your cleaning crew because the crew is doing their job exceptionally well. On our trip we stayed in various locations, out of the three hotels, this one topped off with cleanliness and staff! We rented a 2021 convertible Mustang for our trip, so parking was important to me. There was always private parking available on site; it was well lit and I always felt safe coming and going in the parking lot, and we did so at all hours being we were on vacation. This was a huge relief for me, for anyone who puts money into and/or appreciate their car, this property has put thought and attention into parking for all customers! Parking lot in the front and in the back both well lit and at no cost- on site! There are 3 washers and 3 dryers, all large size, to accommodate your laundry needs; they are coin operated but not obnoxious in cost! They have a well-maintained indoor pool. I overheard people discussing the fact there wasn’t an outdoor pool. I did not ask the staff, but I would think due to the heavy tree population surrounding this location- it would be more work than satisfaction. You’re in Williamsburg, VA, if you want an outdoor pool- maybe go to the ocean(front); if you want a nice indoor pool, they have you covered. The location of this property is within 5 miles (much within walking!) of most needed– groceries, restaurants, clinics, outlet stores, gas stations (7-11, my fav for quick grabs, right down road), etc.

//They had a reception on Wed evening-that was very nice-the gentleman that worked there that night (7/12/23) was wonderful-he was courteous and asked us several times if we needed anything-he also worked the breakfast several times during our stay-

I don’t like the face that house cleaning did not do a good job at all. I ask the female person to , please clean my room , because were frying fish and the floor in the kitchen area needed to be swept & mopped. all she did was give us some clean towels & half ass made the bed up.

upon arriving after a long trip with my 3 children I was check in fast and front desk employee David’s customer service was excellent! He was very pleasant and efficient. answered all my questions and concerns with a upbeat attitude.. this was very refreshing!!

the room was comfortable and large enough for my family.

all staff is nice and friendly specially the one handling the kitchen everybody will great you with a smile no matter how much you ate they table to table to ask how’s everything are doing first time I encounter that kind of behaviors very friendly and with a happy smile keep up the good work and friendly gestures

The front desk manager was very courteous and professional. The suite we booked was spacious and well cared for. My family loved the hotel breakfast plus it was great to have access to an indoor pool.

The only thing I would change would be the sofa bed mattress. It looked old and stained, but other than that the room was excellent!
