Wow, just wow…. Blown away by this sparkling hidden gem in Moclips! Who knew?! We sure do now…. Plan to come back and experience the place and beach at different times of the year. Highly recommend the Moonstone… amazing touches (big and small). They “wrote” Moonstone on the blanket at the end of the bed the way people write in the sand on the beach! It was a shake my head moment when I realized. So very considerate of the dog-lovers out there…. All the lower rooms allow dogs, and have a basket of gear to make the stay more comfortable and a welcome treat! Love the dunes, and the grass-strewn paths, and the viewing chairs. So incredibly peaceful to sit on the deck with a hot coffee cradled in your hands, sitting in comfie deck chairs. And you will leave rich… in sand dollars! Soooooo many! Can’t wait to return!

Bed was a little high. No note paper seen in the room, we had to go to the car (nice for keeping score during a card game).

We couldn’t believe how well appointed and lovely our room was. Easy contactless checkin with chill music playing upon entry. Nicely decorated and wonderful bedding. Great to have a blanket to sit on the deck and watch sunset. You are literally on the beach and a short drive to great restaurants.

My only complaint is that we were a healthy quiet couple and you can definitely hear your neighbors. In our case, this was a large family with small kids, dog and barking puppy. You could hear kids running in the halls and when walking in at night noticed neighbors smoking in the stairwells that we had to walk thru. A little soundproofing would go a long way. I wish there was a bathtub.

The best part, apart from the amazing beach, is the fantastic folks behind the counter. They went above and beyond to help us with delays, and after my visit with them I can not wait to go back and say hello! I plan to share my experience with anyone wishing for a peaceful ocean visit!

I am hard pressed to think of something I would have changed, the only constructive criticism would be to have a few more items in the kitchen available for use and I realize that would prompt less honest folks to leave with the items. So just right as is!

Like having your own private beach. Great location on North Beaches, away from the crowds of Ocean Shores. Room very comfortable and we'll equipped with cookware, nice size refridgerator. Staff is friendly and helpful, will definitely be back. Now that we know area will bring more of our own food. The rooms have a great set up to do some basic cooking, full pans and dishes in cupboards, nice refridgerator.

Be aware that there are no restaurants close, either have to go to Ocean Shores or expensive tourist town of Seabrooke. Only a small corner convenience store close. Cozy Room had views of the beach/ocean and was a stone's throw from the public beach. Excellent end unit with picture window and a small sitout looking out to the Pacific Ocean along with a small balcony as well. Pet friendly room with a fully furnished kitchen (dishwasher, full size fridge, induction cook top, Keurig coffee maker with pods). Recently remodeled and very clean.

Shower setup could be improved (water temperature, fact that you can splash water due to the shower head placement and glass partition being inadequate). Most of the restaurants are near Seabrook, Ocean Shores but within 15-20 mins driving distance (i.e. limited dining options nearby). There is room service/delivery which we didn't try.

View was spectacular. Right on the beach. Big thumbs up for us. The room was updated but smaller and had all the amenities, a Kurig with some great coffee pods, electric two burner stove with all the pots and pans and silverware you would need, bowls plates cups etc., stainless fridge and even a dishwasher! We ate in one night and had all we needed to cook a wonderful meal...Bought all the ingredients at the Moclips Grocery Store, even some nice wines available there. Very nice updated shower with great water pressure. Bed was great for me, woke up rested and relaxed, but my wife found it slightly uncomfortable. Pillows were great. Manager and staff were very friendly and accommodating.

TAKE NOTE : There are three rooms on the upper floor that do not have a slider with a screen door, just a big window that cannot be opened. Make sure you ask when you book the reservation that you want a room with the slider so you can listen to the waves at night...That was the biggest let down for us. We thought all the rooms were like that until we went to the beach and looked up to the hotel and saw our room was one with no screened slider :( and by then it was check out day, too late for us to make a room change request. Other things to watch for, the TV's are good but when watching NetFlix the screen kept buffering, making it almost impossible to watch a movie. Walls a little thin I think, so you are loud and boisterous, might not be the hotel for you...

location is great, price is great for this time of year, kitchenettes are super and having dishes, silver is GREAT! the only thing I’d like is to have my own balcony or patio to hang out on since I had the dogs with me and wasn’t going to sit on the shared one with them:). also some hooks to hang towels/wet stuff outside the room would have been super. other than those very minor things-the moonstone, once a dive, is not anymore:). next time I’ll rent one of the corner units with your own little balcony.

All in the room was sustainable and of good quality, kitchen has glass bowls instead of the usual plastic ones, the knifes were ceramic. Towels were oeco-tex100. Most-liked kitchen ever for me. - Nothing plushy in my room (#9). Internet OK, even superb given it's a rather remote location. - Lovely shower. - Short way to the big, empty beach.

Fridge very often super-noisy (even though I opened it 2 times a day only) but because bright light in front of window with not so good blinds and hearing the neighbors really well, it was a sleep mask and earplugs stay for me anyway.

Upstairs room 9, basic room, clean and clean smelling with everything we needed - and the view. It’s all about the view. Short walk through the grasses to the water. Not overdeveloped with lots of tourist attractions. Just the place if what you want is to drink coffee and read a book overlooking the water. and take beach walks. And spend time with someone you love.

The shower design which leaves water everywhere in the bathroom. And Sleeping next to the fridge coming on and off all night. But that’s to be expected. And only a problem if you are a light sleeper. By the second night I was used to it.

Such a beautiful location! Right on the beach! The kitchenette was so handy. Check in was quick. We would definitely stay here again!

Our air conditioner was broken. The initial evening we got there the sun had been shining onto our room making it pretty warm. It was beyond the time the front desk went home. Upon further inspection, the filter on the air conditioner was filthy. But in the end it cooled off after having the windows open- well the bathroom window was broken as well.
