The room was very spacious and had all of the amenities needed to have the comforts of home away from home. The room was clean and met our expectations.

The security guard at the Huron hotel who is in charge of letting you into the parking garage was non existent. This left you out in the cold during sub zero conditions waiting and ultimately having to walk around the entire building to get into the lobby of the Huron Hotel. I let the front desk know at Homewood Suites and Lori put on her coat and walked me over there to make sure I got in. She turned it around for their lack of customer service. Thank you Lori you're Awesome!!!!

Breakfast was okay, could be better, but is fine for a quick grab and go. Bed was plenty comfy and everything was clean. Staff was friendly and the location is superb. Overall a great place to stay Downtown Milwaukee.

Not much to dislike other then the standard hotel breakfast, and that doesn't really count. A better variety of hot food would be better I suppose, maybe some other meat choices and a better quality egg. I'm nit picking here though.

the living room was dirty. i saw a piece of carrot under one chair! (had to request housekeeping), dishwasher had dirty dishes from previous guests, window facing a wall! (this should be illegal!) no parking, no on-site restaurant, breakfast was meh

Staff went out of their way to make the stay excellent. location was perfect, walking distance to shops, food and the river.

Noise from the highway and road was very loud. Bring earplugs for sleeping at night.

Terrific old building. Very friendly staff. Clean and bright rooms. Good breakfast!

Couch bed is horrible. Bad mattress. Check in was much later than necessary. Rooms were clean but had to wait an hour for an inspection.

Noise from the freeway, even on the top floor. Some rusting in the shower and the bed was not overly comfortable. But comfortable enough for one night.

Homewood Suites by Hilton could not have been in a better location for our family wedding weekend. It's directly across the street from Milwaukee Public Market and the River Walk within a mile (walking distance) of the Deer District as well as Lake Michigan. We rented two suites which were both impeccably clean with all the extras needed to make our special weekend comfortable including extra bedding for pull out couch and kitchen utensils. The wonderful hot and cold breakfast each morning was excellent and definitely an added bonus to our stay!

Great staff, very welcoming. The location by the Public Market was great. Just popped over and could get snacks and food that could be cooked in the room.

I called to see if early check in would be possible and On the phone I was told it would be fine. When we arrived however, not only was early check in not possible, but we couldn't get to our room until about 45 min after regular check in. If we had known this we would have planned accordingly. When we checked in there were no dish cleaning materials. The staff tried to accommodate, but due to shortages in materials we ended up buying our own soap. Little noisy, but hey, we're in the downtown so it's to be expected.

VERY difficult to figure out where to park initially for check in. All the doors were locked and it was not well marked at all to ring to gain access for checkin. Although a great location, this is evidence the surrounding area is marginal. Homeless were in the parking garage
