the Mason Street Grill was outstanding. Ate dinner there twice and really enjoyed it.

the Breakfast Cafe was adequate, but the menu was pretty pedestrian. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. We had breakfast coupons for each of the combined 6 nights we stayed at the hotel. The cafe staff acknowledged the coupons, but each server seemed to deal with them differently, for example, one server adjusted our breakfast bill to credit the coupons, others did nothing with them. We had to sort out the breakfast charges with the hotel desk when we were checking out, to ensure that we were in fact credited by applying the coupons to the breakfast charges.

History, charm, visually beautiful.

only one small complaint. There were fruit flies in the café a lot of them, particularly on the wall near our booth. I counted more than a dozen.

The architecture and the decor were wonderful. We loved the lobby bar and the art everywhere we found it. Our room was spacious and quiet. The food at the various venues was all great.

We went sight seeing in the morning and returned in the early afternoon to take a nap. We had asked for housekeeping which hadn't yet arrived, so we just put up a "privacy please" hanger on the door. The housekeeping staff blew right through it and it was a bit of a surprise for all of us. I got the impression that perhaps she didn't know what it meant. The only other issue was the paper coffee cups in the room for early morning coffee. A ceramic option, perhaps at least on request, would have been much nicer.

Beautiful over 100 year old hotel. We stayed in the newer section, and it felt like you were transported each time you stepped into the lobby. We LOVED the BLU Jazz Club. Consider coming just for dinner and a drink if it is too expensive to stay! We were there for a wedding but will definitely be back for a drink and music!

I would love if they could bring a little more history feel to the hallways and a little more luxury to the rooms. The bed was a little too sunken in. The room, even in the updated section was still a little dated feeling. Not "I'm in a old historic" old but more its been a minute since they updated these curtains and bedframe.

the grandeur and history of this hotel. The history of Milwaukee in the room and pfister book was interesting. Having worked for the Marcus's Big Boy franchise in past, this was always a grand place to come back to for lodging in Milwaukee. Glad to see the history preserved. Staff and resturant staff as well as food was very good.

Modern Main Street Grill decor doesn't follow the grandeur of hotels history. Years ago the dining room was also set in the hotels traditional setting. Unfortunately the Blu room was closed on Mondays. Disappointed we couldn't go thrre.

Staff super The building of course Spa great wish I had more $$$ for that Pool of course Wanted to go to Blu reason I booked but cyber stalked by Robin Pluer and a crew of underlings headed up there. This is a huge problem all over cyber stalking. Hence the "cleaners" come to town prior to convention. 😎🙊🙉🙋

Too many outsiders not logged I to whom they might be. Traveling as a female checked in as a single visitor creates gossip among outsiders assuming I am their for more than what I was. The dinner at the Mason Street Grill was horrendous because staff did not like my commentary to one of my partners seated across from me at another table. No one working there would have ever places us together as outside observers of WHAT is wrong with this PLACE!!! Now that you understand that point I made sure with the following on slaught the hinderance of too many Nonlogged in people disturbing me!!!

Wonderful experience in an extremely well kept historic hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful & the room copy of the book on the hotel helped improve our experience greatly. Our room in the tower offered beautiful views of Lake Michigan. On site paid parking was a convenient enhancement since we arrived by car. Our room included a refrigerator & coffee maker.

Reservations for aftenoon tea were 100% sold out. Book early if you are staying at the hotel.

This hotel was perfect for our stay. The location was great and we were able to walk to our destination and also walked to dinner afterwards. We had breakfast at the Cafe and it was excellent. The hotel is absolutely stunning and offers so many wonderful extras. We will definitely be staying again.

It was a little on the expensive side for us, but it was worth it and absolutely perfect for the birthday surprise I had planned. My wife was stunned when we walked in

Beautiful hotel, the art is so prevalent its like being in a museum. If you like the art in the lobby be sure to go to the 7th floor and check out all the amazing paintings there. Room was beautiful, comfortable bed, views of both the river and the lake (we were on the 22nd floor). Ate at Mason Street Grill which I highly recommend. All in all it was a fantastic experience.

Loud adjoining neighbor having a party, but they quieted down at a relatively reasonable time. Picked this hotel in part because they had plug in option for my hybrid car, but only actually had Tesla plugs, you had to bring your own adapter or cord which wasn't clear in the description.
