Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Cheyenne Southwest/Downtown Area

We were in a queen suite for a one night stay with my family of 5. it was very comfortable and clean. Really liked that there were 2 TVs in the room but felt like a partition was needed to separate the “sitting” space from the sleeping space so the TVs did not clash with each other when both were on. Breakfast was good, it was hot and there was plenty of coffee!

The only thing I can say I did not like was there was not enough lighting in the room. It was so dark, even in the daytime. I do appreciate a well lit room other than just bedside lamps.

Parking was free, check in was quick, rooms were clean and comfy. Breakfast was surprisingly good. I was expecting a cheap muffin and subpar coffee, but there was bacon and eggs, buscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, cereal yogurt you name it. It was pleasant.

This hotel is quite new with all of the latest design trends and features. Easy access and ample parking. Comfortable beds. The front desk staff was efficient and prompt. The free breakfast included hot items such as eggs and sausage. Overall, it’s a nice place.

The nightly rate seemed high in my opinion. Rooms facing the front side of the hotel are subject to frequent train and roadway noise. Rooms facing the north side will be quieter.

Breakfast was great. Staff friendly and helpful. Love that breakfast last till 10am and were late and they said to come down anyway there was plenty , the kept it open for us. Liked that the fitness center is 24 hrs. Pool till 11 pm nd a noon check out !! Super awesome. .

Their web site price was different than what they actually charged. They adjusted it to my confirmed price. Super nice for fixing it. Was the only thing,

Bed was comfortable and the water pressure was great! The clerk was very accomodating when we informed him that the heat did not work in our room.

The heater in the first room did not work and in the second room it did but it took awhile for it to heat up.

I loved the decor in the entry and was very pleased with the cleanliness of our room.

We were really hoping to use the pool, but unfortunately, during our stay it was being repaired as were the other sister hotels pools. When I went to check out, I stood at the desk for several minutes before finally just leaving. I could hear desk clerks in the next room, but I wished I would have been able to check out in person. Maybe consider a bell at the desk.

The location to my meetings was ideal. The fitness room was exceptional. all the equipment was in good working condition. I rarely find a good one so this was really nice.

The only thing I was not happy with was the front desk. When I arrived no one was out front. I stood for a couple minutes before I yelled " hello". The gentlemen was nice enough but I was tired and ready to get to my room. Then again when I went to check out I came to the desk and I head a muffled, (you can leave the key on the counter) coming from the back room. I didn't need a receipt but it would have been nice to have been asked.

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a good selection. Parking is very accessible. Location is right off Route 80 so it's very convenient.

Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable with two televisions, a king bed and a good supply of towels and pillows. However, we were located in the front and we could hear the trains all night long (there is a large depot in Cheyenne). This made sleeping a little challenging.

It was peaceful and quiet.

The heater wouldn’t come on. It was freezing cold in the room. But I called the front desk. She took care of the problem. She put me in another room.

I appreciated the staff’s attention to mask wearing and it seemed the guests for the most part we’re wearing theirs as well. This meant a lot when 7 weeks ago staying at the same establishment in a different location, the staff and guests disregarded the safety protocols of Marriott. As well, my children had not been in a pool since probably February and the person working the front desk seamlessly created an alternative for them when the one in the hotel suddenly did not work. I greatly appreciate her thought and kindness.
