La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Cheyenne

This motel is a little dated, but actually pretty clean when we were there. (I know there are a lot of bad reviews out there on this topic, but we found it to be pretty decent actually.) We got a nice room for the dogs, and there was a temporary exit that actually worked great for us, as it made the walk to our room easier.

Not the fault of the hotel, but it is near the train tracks and those can be loud on occasion.

Lots of parking spaces, very tranquil surroundings. Beds were comfortable. Staff was very accommodating and friendly when issues arose both for myself and others.

Didn’t know what time breakfast ended. The outside door didn’t actually close at night time. Anyone could open it. The door to my room wouldn’t close properly unless pushed at the end.

We booked a king room through booking .com....within a couple minutes the hotel called to let us know, the king room was filled by a walk in person. They offered us a 2 double room. We really appreciated the heads up, before arrival. It was a comfy room and place to stay. That's what happens when you book online with a third party and someone else walks in.

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. The bed was comfortable and I got a good night sleep, before heading out on the rest of our journey.

Some of the furniture was a bit old and uncomfortable to sit on. I had specifically requested this room, due to having the sofa for my mom to sleep on, and she was unable to do so because she would sink in and there were sharp edges to it. My mom's physical condition does not allow her to lay down, so she has to sleep in a chair or on the sofa. Thankfully there was a leather chair in the room that she did get some sleep. I was hoping for a recliner for her.

The room was clean. The staff was helpful and kind. I always book here and will continue to so thanks to their amazing service

Only possible thing. And this is being really nit picky, is that there were no bananas in the complimentary breakfast. But otherwise superb stay as always.

The location was right off of I-80, easy off and easy on. There was Mexican restaurant and Famous Dave's within walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The bathroom was old and run down, needed remodeling. Room was clean except some dirt in the bathroom corner. Bed was advertised as a queen but was a full.

Stayed here twice now. Comfy, plenty of parking. I like it for its great value- no fluffy stuff, just a basic, clean room at a good price with free parking. Don’t expect anything fancy, the breakfast is meh only because hard boiled eggs a bit suspicious. Would stay again.

the brekky is meh

All I was looking for was a clean, safe place to stay the night. The staff was helpful and my room and bed were clean. Tres Amigos next door was outstanding for Mexican / Tex Mex.

Building is a little older. Looks like it could stand some remodeling.

Bed comfortable, bathroom clean. Loved the large windows.

Trains across the street wakes you up in the night. Breakfast was poor. Carpet in room was stained.

The staff was friendly and worked with me when I had questions. I thought the room was very nice and clean. Quiet considering the location.

To be honest, all of the flooring needs to be replaced. Some hotels are changing to high vinyl flooring which is easier to clean. Carpet gets all kinds of stains that are hard to clean (you never know what people will bring into a hotel).
