I really liked how we had a digital key and we went straight to our room. I loved that Breakfast was included but it was just okay to me. The turkey sausage didn't taste fully cooked and the eggs were a bit watery. The room was very clean but our fridge didn't seem cold enough, we had to get a bucket of ice to put our drinks in. The view from our room was not too bad, no complaints about that. The room was big enough, with comfy beds, and cozy blankets. :) I loved the location, very close to Woodfield Mall, about a 4-minute drive. This is my second time staying at this hotel.

I requested a late checkout, which they gave me until 12:30, which was fine, what I didn't like was that housekeeping knocked on our door not once but twice while we were sleeping. The first lady knocked and since we were sleeping, we didn't hear the knocking right away, she opened the door and said, "Housekeeping" in a loud voice. The second time was a male, he did the same thing. They should've waited until we checked out instead of waking us up.

The location of the property is centrally located. Excellent choice of restaurant locations. Helpful and friendly front desk staff. The room was perfect for a physically challenged guest. Finding a hotel with a room that can accomodate the limitations of a physically challenged is difficult. The room was designed with large open spaces, large entry doors and a shower that was designed to assist a challenged guest. The Hampton Inn checked all the boxes to make the stay an easy experience.

I was there with my wife. We liked being near the mall, and to several restaurants and bar. Close to major freeways and tollways. Our room was nice and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. Staff members were friendly. Plenty of parking. We have been here several times.

The Hampton Inn in Bloomington-Normal made free coffee and tea available in the evenings. We missed that.

We liked the location, the service, the cleanliness of the rooms and the facility, and the breakfast.

Them noisy kids. Kids should be with their parents and those who want to be around them. Visitors without kids should be separate from them because kids like to play and make noise, and that's fine, but everyone does not need to hear the noise allllllllll night long.

Comfy beds & pillows, clean rooms, nice location. Breakfast was good. Very helpful front desk staff, they readily accommodated a room change request!

Restroom door was weird barn door type. In the room I got, restroom barn door was not at all moving. Requested another room which had a slightly better barn door for the restroom that was still so hard to push and close. I came to know that it has been prevailing issue. They gotta take away those bard doors for the restrooms.

The room was perfect for family. The pullout was surprisingly comfortable. And the distance to the mall to hang out was great. Staff were excellent!

The pool picture is misleading. It's tiny. It's fine for the family, but the kids even noticed it didn't match the picture. The king bed was a little lumpy.

When checking in need let guest know about the update since covid hit 24 hour if like to have room clean. This would been nice didnt know about the change do not enough workers since it posted at front desk afterwards to late. I'm sure alot ppl miss this probably why don't mention short on staff working. You pay this amount of money over 100.00 should clean up ur room and there 2 days. Thanks

Staff was great, all inquires me and my team had were solved. They had a business room we could work for few hours, and room has plenty of space to work.

Everything. Relatively new construction. Exceedingly clean. Staff was professional at every turn (from check in to serving breakfast the morning after). Room was ideal. Nice size. Impressive variety of cable TV channels, as well. Quiet hallways (and not because the hotel was empty).

Bath towels could have been a bit larger. Pool could have been a bit larger (for more judgemental 14-year-old son). A hot tub would have been nice (but probably, understandably would have been off-limits due to the pandemic).

the only weird thing was my sister’s room had a lightbulb missing and when she went to the front desk to ask for another one (so much three year old nephews wouldn’t stick their fingers in the socket, the desk clerk told her she didn’t have access to lightbulbs only the maintenance man did. I think I would have lightbulbs available all the time.
