Eco Alcalá Suites

This is a very good accommodation in the heart of Madrid, it is a family-friendly hotel with several amenities to make your stay memorable. The staff were so friendly and ready to assist you with anything. The hotel is very close to the metro and bus stop, it is close to the centre of Madrid and also close to the airport.

Free bottled water and free coffee could be offered to guests at least for the first night. The windows/glass wall need some cleaning from the outside as there is so much dirt on them. Lastly, the Living Room could do with a large TV at least a 50 inches TV will be ideal and also having premium channels would be a good addition.

Almost everything is great. Especially the staffs are friendly and helpful, the availability of 24/7 makes it even better. The room was clean and suitable for families. The only downside of the room is that the sink is too small and uncomfortable but it’s manageable not end of the world. We kind of expected the the swimming pool to be small and it is. However we were not ready for the coldness of it, it’s just very cold, so uncomfortable to stay there. Other than that I recommend the hotel for everything else.

Since day 1 the front desk personnel was very professional, friendly and provide a great advice. I like a lot the room, beds and overall comfortability. I have to mentioned that breakfast at the horel was great every day. I have to mentioned that the service from Carmen ( from the restaurant ) and Carmen ( from the front desk ) provided me and my family with a 100% quality service, provide help at special moments during our stay and we will always remember this two ladies. We are planning to visit again Spain and we will stay again at Eco Alcala Suites. We expect to see again both Carmen.

We really like everything. We do not have to complaint about nothing at the hotel. It was really what we were expecting. It worth our money. So good !. We will travel again and stay at this hotel.

I booked this for a layover in Madrid as I had a night in Madrid to relax before a morning flight. The hotel is really nice, with a Modern Art Chic vibe. The staff were helpful in organising taxis and transfers. The hotel room was large and spacious, bed was comfortable, was more an apartment. It takes 15minutes to get to the airport from the hotel, so was brilliant.

Location is abit far from the hustle and bustle of the city centre and sights. But there bars and restaurants scattered around the area if you take a walk around.

It was easy to communicate with staffs as they speak English really well and checking in and out was smooth.

Cleaning staffs needs to do better in the morning, throughout my stay I was constantly been woken up with loud noises of either chairs been dragged on the floor and constantly banging from staffs cleaning so it was not that comfortable to sleep till noon

The hotel was walking distance to Ciudad Lineal metro station which allowed easy access the the central district of Madrid. Staff was very good about cleaning the room. My girls had a loft to their selves.

Walk to the metro station included a pretty good uphill climb of about 300 meters. My wife and I ended up in adjoining single beds. Staffing shortage the last night we were in town meant no desk clerk on the night that our room key decided to act up and not open the door.

Fast Check-in, Once I arrived at the hotel, all the paperwork was ready and within less than 5 minutes you'll be at the hotel. The room was spacious and had a kitchenette The breakfast service was nice especially the lady in the hall.

Doesn't feel like a 4-star hotel, it was more like 3 stars. (Furniture, corridors, bathroom, complimentary items) The TV was smart which is very good but it was very small. I don't understand why not keep the items in the room for guests and have to ask and take it from reception (like kettle and slippers)

Staff was very nice and helpful. Walking distance to some bars and restaurants. Short walking distance to Athletico Madrid Stadion. Room cleaning was working well.

The sofas in the room were ugly and looked dirty. Televsions were really small. Price for the room was little expensive, not including coffees or anything from the minibar.

The location was great, near a choice for food and travelling with two children ( age7 and 9)the Italian restaurant near by was excellent choice , digested by a very nice lady from the staff.

We were 3 adults and two children , maybe this kind of room but with division of bedrooms would have been better for us , but we knew that this room was our choice .

The rooms were very spacious and clean. The beds were very comfy and the staff were helpful and friendly.

The swimming pool was not as nice as the pictures and very small. It would be nice to have tea and coffee in the room without an additional charge. The hours of breakfast would be better to be from 7am.
