Ibis Madrid Calle Alcala

The location for me was very good as it is between the city centre and the airport, a beautiful very big park is right across, for walks or jogging. Lots of local restaurants, bars and supermarkets around the area. Very local "vibe", not touristic. Very good wi-fi. The room is a big "compact" but it is very functional and exactly as described. The bathroom is spacious in fact. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they all seem to work together, rather than in "departments", good to see.

Although the room was clean, the staircases (on both occasions, as I stayed twice) really need a sweep or hoover!

- All the benefits of IBIS chain - standard clean room (not to big though) - Great breakfast - Metro station right around the corner which takes you 25-30min to get to the center - Places to park around and also possibility to park in the hotel

- Was quite expensive for IBIS on the outskirts, maybe we were just unlucky with dates and something was happening in Madrid at that time

Room is okay, I was ready for really small one, but it’s better than in budget one. Comfy bed, big window (no view expected) Nice reception: very kind and helpful, nice bar tenders, always ready to give you a cup. We got a clearing even with 2 nights booking. We found it quiet, even having you room close to elevator. 35-45 min by center, location is okay.

No Supermarkt nearby (closest in 15 min by walk) No hand towels ( need to request) No glasses in the room (also can request) No fridge (ofc for this price) During evenings the district is not very safe in my opinion.

Excellent location to the metro station for ease of getting into the city and also only 15mins in a taxi to the airport. Clean room and very comfortable beds. The staff member on the night shift arrange d for a taxi to collect us the following morning to take us back to the airport and when we came down to reception before our booking time, the taxi was already waiting.

Can not complain about anything for this hotel.

Only a two-minute-walk to the metro station. Neat and extremely clean hotel, more than I had expected. The breakfast was super! Very nice and helpful staff. Overall a great experience and would recommend to others.

Pillows were not exactly my type, but they cannot please everyone after all. Also the room was too aromatized at my arrival. I would personally prefer the smell of fresh air.

Perfect efficiency and clean, all needs met with simplicity. Perfectly located one minute from public transport, directly to pretty much everything in Madrid, very nice staff. Amazing value for money and easy for families. Everything you need, bedside lights and plugs, hangers, good light good shutters, good temperature control. Simple and efficient with fun and comfy family beds too.

Value for money! Ibis Calle Alcala was the most reasonable priced property within 30' from Madrid Center - conveniently close to Suanzes metro station good breakfast comfy, spacious room nice staff

Not their fault, but train rides are 30 to 40 minutes long to the center... so, you cannot really come and go as you wish... 40' from Atocha station 38' from Gran Via station

Good place if you will stay for 1 night in Madrid and you need to go to the Airport. Good value for money. Breakfast was great, €8.50 buffet … very tasty and lots of choices. Location is very convenient, 15€ in taxi from the airport and 11 stops (direct line) to the city center by subway. Subway station is just less than 2 blocks away.

Only stayed there for a few hours while waiting for my flight, good rooms, good beds and clean. Does not really pretend to be anything else than it is so a big thumbs up from me. Had a bar that looked good but I did not try.

Area a bit sketchy but otherwise no real complaints from me. I did not sample the food either.

Clean, simple room with everything needed. Spacious shower. Quick check-in. Professional staff. Good location just a few minutes away from the metro by foot and very convenient for car transport to the airport.

I couldn't get the temperature control for the AC to work so the room was a bit warm for my liking.
