nicely renovated typical hotel with a little shared kitchenette and a kids play area plenty of parking

when daughter opened one of grey spare blankets was a big smeared snot patch and another little one I left a note on top for cleaner bathrooms very nicely renovated and clean however grout and bottom of shower doors need attention I work in house keeping and these areas Cleary not getting the attention needed also had plastic in our sticky date pudding daughter gagged on it informed waitress however it was so nice had a second serving and yay no plastic

Loved this little gem, exceptionally clean, quaint and cute. Staff are adorable and this will be my place of accommodation when I visit Kempsey. Access to rooms are separate, so for those that may not like to go through the hotel, there is a separate entrance. Even though shared bathrooms, this was not an issue, extremely clean and great water pressure lol.

Was annoying that the pub's music (til late) can be clearly heard thru the floor; lighting in room a little dull...

Lovely country hotel. Room was away from the bar downstairs. It was small but very comfortable and clean. Complimentary toiletries were included. Kitchen area had tea/coffee, microwave available. Bistro had good food.

Pub air-conditioners were located nearby outside window, which were on the noisy side.

Easy to book, quick service; but not easy to find the hotel. Very beautiful heritage building, I really liked it. Thank you, all the best. If I have to stop again in Kempsey one day, I will go to your hotel again and recommend it to everyone who gose that way. Thanks.

Friendly staff, the rooms obviously modernised, all extremely clean. Dinner at the bar was absolutely top notch - wagyu brisket on vegetables cooked perfectly. Thanks for having me.

Communal fridge might need a clean out but that's a marginal complaint at best.

Service was great, room was great, bed was super comfy and warm, bathroom facility was extra clean and hygienic! Food and service at restaurant/bar was great, pub band/live music was superb and noise level upstairs in room was minimal. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

There was nothing to not like. The experience is everything you expect from this type of accommodation.

the beds were very comfortable and the room and bathrooms were immaculately clean. staff were attentive and charmingly happy to be of service. meals in the dining room were great

Breakfast not available. Had dinner in the bistro that was fine however what was on the menu as pork belly was actually pork loin bur that was fine. We were on a road trip to Qld and this was close to the half way mark so worked out well for us.
