This is a classic old style motel and is a very convenient stopover as it is well located to the M1. The rooms are spacious, scrupulously clean and you park at the door of your room which is so convenient. The owner/manager is friendly and helpful. I was given real milk upon check in which makes for a much better cup of tea! It is a short drive to downtown Kempsey but I ordered room service for dinner and it exceeded my expectations. The barramundi was delicious and came piping hot with a generous serve of vegetables and a glass of wine!

The room was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. Everything we needed was in the room. The owner was very friendly. Parking was at the door and the single level was good for my elderly mother. Shower was nice and hot with good pressure.

The bathroom taps made a terrible noise when initially turned on. Also they were quite hard to turn. The bathroom a bit small and a bit dated.

Great hot water in shower; happy with bulk shampoo, soap etc. (but no lotion!). Clean, kitchen setup very good with proper cutlery and china. Microwave easy to work. Comfortable beds. Manager went out of his way to return some left property to us in Sydney!

Was a little far out of town. No bulk body lotion in bathroom.

The location was easy to find and very convenient for our journey up the coast of New South Wales on the Pacific Highway. Because of Covid, the restaurant facilities were much curtailed; nevertheless the owner provided an excellent meal and good wine to our room at a modest price. Breakfast was similarly available and when a mechanical problem with our car delayed our departure, he was solicitous and helpful.

Nothing really. The Motel met our requirements and we were very satisfied with the standard and the price.

The rooms were clean and we stayed in the family room. It was spacious and clean. Family room is good for a 1 family with two adults and 3 children. But if you are having it for 4 adults, it is not good enough as it doesn't have enough privacy,.

We would expect the toilet door to be replaced as it doesn't have enough privacy.

easy location for travelers - close to M1

it’s a fairly basic traditional style motel - which doesn’t bother me at all - the hosts were helpful and friendly and gave excellent directions over the telephone when we arrived late, the rooms were clean and comfy, and there were lots of caring and thoughtful touches. good value and good for those on the road

Great location, a very good mid point between Gold Coast and Sydney. They have hot chocolate. What's better than having a hot chocolate while taking pictures of the starry night in Winter.

The sign pointing the entrance of the motel was not clear. We miss the entrance when we drove pass.

The room was clean & had all we needed for an overnight stop. microwave, kettle, basic crockery & cutlery. Shower was really good. we could access Netflix. We ordered dinner & breakfast & both were very good.

probably too far from town but for a quick overnight stop it didn’t worry us.

Clean, comfortable stay with very kind hosts. We ordered dinner to the room and it was wonderful. Great stay overall - allowed pets, close to highway, comfortable bed, great shower.

It is an older motel, but you can tell they take care of the place.
