Sapphire Chambre B&B

The breakfast at Sapphire Chambre was excellent including a cooked option and continental style buffet and the variety of food offered could not be better. The owners cook the breakfast on site and they are very pleasant and helpful. The location of the property was within easy walk to the beach.

The property is on a private road and was very quiet and peaceful, however, be aware that there are no shops on the estate and the nearby cafe was closed at the time we arrived, therefore it's advisable to plan a meal option nearby before arriving.

The breakfast was a very acceptable and wide-ranging assortment of fruits, bread/toast, a delicious banana bread to die for, coffee or tea, cereals, yogurts, and the offer of bacon and egg. All very nicely and clearly displayed. Our room was ideal with a very comfortable queen-sized bed and a TV on the far wall and a very well-appointed bathroom. Robert and Phyllis obviously know what they are doing and offering and do a fantastic job with it all and this morning we spent a good hour comparing notes on many things.

Nothing, really. The only thing that would have been better is if we had stayed longer. We will definitely go back as it is only 1 hour and 40 minutes from where we live yet it is so quiet and good to escape to.

Robert and Phyllis were just the most wonderful hosts. It was such a treat to enjoy breakfast in the dining area each morning and chat to them about anything and everything. The breakfast choices were unbelievable. Robert’s cooked breakfasts were so so delicious and Phyllis’s banana bread was so good, I asked for the recipe. Their beautiful retriever Red Dog seemed happy to share his house with us also. Super comfy bed, modern clean bathroom and a stunning location. Wonderful time there! Thank you!

Sapphire Chambre B+B is situated in a quiet location with beach access. Our hosts were very accommodating and friendly, and I enjoyed the opportunity to be able to chat with them and other guests in the kitchen /diner as they prepared and served breakfast. The spread was wonderful, right down to the fresh fruit and homemade Banana bread. Our room was well appointed and clean,making this B+B a good choice for ( in my case ) a brief stopover on our journey.

Having to get back in the car at dinner time to get to the closest dining options. Having said that, it's only a 6-7 minute trip.

We only needed the bed and breakfast for 1 night and Robert and Phyllis were exceptional with their hospitality.We enjoyed the cooked breakfast and the fresh home made bread and banana bread .Clean and comfortable bed. Parking was on the driveway.

Didn’t feel safe parking on the driveway. Too pricey for one night.

Quiet location. Breakfast was well catered for with a variety of continental style foods plus a cooked breakfast if you wanted it. Hosts were welcoming as was the lovely old dog.

Nothing really. I would like to have used the upstairs lounge as the tv was larger and it had a lounge suite but didn’t as I did not want to disturb the other guests.

Our room was very comfortable and we were greeted like old friends. There are some lovely walks, especially along the beautiful beach just behind the property. Breakfast was incredible, with everything imaginable available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

There was nothing that I didn't like!

The breakfast each morning was devine and the selection was superb. An extra credit for Phyllis's delicious banana bread and Robert's home made bread. The beds were very comfortable.

Fantastic gourmet breakfast, with a huge selection of cereals, fruit, toast, delicious home made banana bread, jams and also cooked fresh eggs, bacon, hash browns. The beds were super comfortable and everything was very clean. In a great location, nice and quiet and very close to the beach.

Everything was excellent, nothing negative at all.

Location was good. Breckfast very sumptuous. Plenty of choice from cereal to hot Breckfast, To Philis famous Banna Bread.. Was very nice stay thanks to Phil and Robert 😊
