The bathroom was newly renovated and was very attractively done. Towels clean and soft. Air con was very useful as it was very hot while we were there. The bed and bedding were both comfortable. TV great, WiFi appreciated. Room was clean and freshly painted.

The view from the front door of room 29 was that of a large rubbish pile and the view from the back window was a rusty old shipping container, an old trailer and more rubbish. Maybe some lattice or brush fencing could be used to hide some of this if it can't be easily removed. Shower had a dispenser for shampoo but no conditioner, and liquid soap, but no face washer was provided to allow for efficient use of the soap. Microwave did not have instructions and was not easy to work out. A sponge or chux wipe would have been helpful to wipe the bench after washing up.

To start with was greeted by a super friendly man that showed us to the room and where to park and how to use the electronic locks which I liked. To the room, it was cleaned to a very high standard which made it very pleasant to stay in Bathroom and shower were very good. Was nice having a sink in the main area Was nice having a smart tv Room was abit dated but that doesn't bother me or my partner as the room had been meticulously cleaned Location was easy to find and only had the odd truck and car passing until around 5-6am

Bed was rather uncomfortable due to being abit solid that's about the only bad point which is unfortunate.

This motel is currently being renovated by new owners. The room was clean, fresh & the brand new bathroom is of 5-star quality! Huge fluffy white bath sheets, shampoo, body wash & liquid soap dispensers on the walls along with the ‘built-in’ hair dryer was a pleasant surprise. The crisp white linens on the beds were very refreshing to see & the comfort of the queen bed (with extra pillows & blankets tucked away in the 2-door wardrobe, along with an ironing board & iron too) was comparable to the offerings of much larger & more expensive 5 star resorts. The A/C next to the kitchen window which overlooked the acreage behind included grazing cows, was quiet & very cool. The kitchenette with sink, small fridge , microwave, toaster & kettle was more than adequate for us, with coffee, tea, sugar & milk supplied. Clean crockery, cutlery & glassware including wine glasses in the cupboard were clean, undamaged & ‘full-size’ compared to other hotels offerings of mugs or glasses better suited to children. Although a number of restaurants & cafes offer delivery to the rooms here, we picked up some groceries at the ‘4-mins-away-Woolworths’. We sat outside our room at our table & chairs for dinner, taking in the sunset over the distant hills & contemplated a dip in the beautiful blue pool opposite us…the gazebo/dining/bbq area next to the pool was surrounded by lush plants, flowers & palms. When we retired to the room for showers & sleep, we couldn’t believe how soundproofed the room was…we couldn’t hear any highway sounds at all, let alone the families on either side of us…we felt like we were the only people staying there, unbelievably quiet! For us & other weary travellers, this motel is a breath of fresh air & priced for maximum bang for your bucks! Definitely worth the $150 per night stay if your passing through & need to rest.

Nothing.

Booking process and communication with property were easy. Reception opened late for our arrival and went out of their way to see us safely to our room and explained how the digital locks work. We especially appreciated the icy cold water in the fridge upon our arrival after a long hot thirsty drive!

Dishes in the cupboard were not clean. We had to wash them prior to using them. Only other downside was that in the process of bringing bags etc into the room, mossies also moved in, and being so late we did not feel comfortable calling reception for insecticide! Bring on the lavender oil!

Handy to taree the only down fall is the property is on the right hand side going into taree and at peak hour its hard to come out of property if your wanting to go into town traffic is unforgiving, i got out once but in the morning had to turn left and come back its a fair way up before you can do a turn. The motel is good clean and friendly and very reasonable price, 2 mins into town if that. Very friendly welcoming management.

Just getting out of drive if wanting to turn right into town, in peak hour. Best to ge left and turn right at first drive or road.

Easy access to town, easy access to Pacific Hwy, yet far enough away to get some restful sleep. Friendly hosts. Good sized parking area. Seems to be new bathroom that was very clean (plus points), comfy bed, good curtaining. Overall very clean. Great value for money.

The room could do with some new flooring (timber laminate maybe)- the carpet is a bit old and provides a musty smell when the room is first opened, probably because the room is not ventilated regularly- all windows closed upon arrival (actually there's only 1 openable window, thus timber flooring would be a good choice). I got the impression that the owners are maybe new, so maybe they will fix this situation. Also the outer door handle and lock were very loose and dodgy- some attention to maintenance is necessary. That all said, it's good for the price.

I was greeted and the door opened for me as i arrived. The customer service was friendly and welcoming after a long drive. The bathroom facilities were new and of great quality. The bed was clean, and amenities were provided in the plenty.

Clearly, they are renovating and coloured walls, and warn carpet was the letdown. But the fundamentals were great

This is quite an old motel (I think). I noticed other customers included traffic management road workers (from their truck full of signs) so it seems to be a place used by businesses to house their workers when in the area. As the facility is mainly a row of rooms, all next to each other, they thoughtfully filled every second room first, I assume to make the place as quiet as possible. As more people arrived they filled the rest of the rooms. Outside each room was a small table and garden chairs. Several occupants of a few rooms sat outside to smoke cigarettes. Although they were some distance away you could still smell the acrid smoke, which was not very pleasant. The rooms are designated “non-smoking” however my room still smelled either slightly musty, or from having been smoked in some time ago. Running the air conditioner helped with that, even though it squeaked for much of the night. I’m not complaining - just saying. There is a swimming pool on site, which was used by a few guests. It looked good. There also is a BBQ pavilion in the grounds that looked good too. There is no restaurant or food available at this motel. Many people went to the local golf club for dinner at night, which is a five minute drive across the Manning River and through the town. For breakfast you either bring your own (serials, milk, etc) or visit one of the several cafes, service stations, etc for coffee and donuts. There were the usual satchels of coffee and tea in the room, and some small tubs of milk. There were several menus in my room, with reference to local suppliers with “home delivery” options listed, so guests can also choose to use these services.

The motel is situated right on the main road into town, so the sound of traffic, especially trucks, can be a bit of an issue as they occasionally pass during the night. Most of the rooms face to the west, so in Summer make sure you draw the heavy curtains on the full-height sliding door and windows on that side. That is also your entrance to the room. The only other minor complaint I would make is that the bathroom sink in my room was cracked right across the front. It was still functional, but it should be replaced.

Really cosy rooms. Love that the air con was on when we got there! The rooms were toasty warm and nice to go into from the cold wet weather. Excellent price and we had what we needed.

My only issue is the address listed on booking.com for the property is not the correct address, it takes you to another motel and the receptionist there told us it happens constantly.

Clean and comfortable rooms, recently refurbished. Very fast Starlink internet. Easy to access and just a short drive from Taree town centre. Kookaburras in trees just behind unit, lovely chorus at dusk.

Still refurbishing parts of grounds, and fitting a undersink cabinet in rooms. Shower could do with a better shower rose and taps.
