Crescent Motel Taree

Very comfortable and clean room, perfect for an overnight stay when passing through Taree. Staff very helpful and friendly. Loved the coffee machine in the room, I stayed on a public holiday so wasn’t sure if any cafes would be open, loved that I was able to make myself a good coffee. Little biscuits and bottled water was also a nice touch.

My room was next to the car wash next door which was quite noisy (not the fault of the motel) so I did have to keep the door closed but there was aircon which worked well, and the car wash closed at 5pm so it didn’t impact sleeping hours.

The room was very clean. The bed very comfortable and the shower nice. For a stopover, affordable motel I was very impressed at the quality of bed, bedding, towels and cleanliness. Well equipped with appliances (kettle, toaster, microwave, coffee pod machine) and eating/drinking tools. Although we did not take advantage, impressed they have a $10 breakfast available.

Could not watch free to air TV as reception was poor, however, that was not a priority for us. Bathroom was great but a little small, fine for us, but would not suit travellers who like a big bathroom.

We stayed in a twin room. The room was quiet, everything worked, the beds were genuinely very comfortable (latex?), the linen clean & white (which we really appreciated) and the shower was fabulously hot, just the thing after a long drive to relax the shoulders. Nice touches: the cute frog folded from towels. The toiletries supplied in sustainable glass bottles. Complimentary bottles of water in the fridge. This place is great value, would stay here again :)

The parking is pretty tight if you have a large car, this would not have presented a problem except that, when I needed to get the car out for dinner, I found the gate to the easier exit is locked until morning.

What a hidden diamond. We just needed a quick stay overnight as we live out of town and had several functions to attend within 24 hours. Crescent motel was perfect. We received a warm professional welcome, the rooms were spotless. The facilities and buildings well maintained. The cherry on top for me were the immaculate gardens. They have used every space to create manicured gardens to make you feel tranquil. I’m impressed with the work that must go into them to keep them looking so good is such a small space surrounded by concrete.

The only thing I could think of to improve and it’s a stretch is the bathrooms although functional and spotless could do with an upgrade to meet a modern style.

Easy to find and we were given directions to a great hotel only 3 minute walk away... Room was very clean and had modern updates to facilities available. Loved the coffee maker.

Parking was tight with not much room to turn. Had to turn fridge off because of the noise it made... The free water in the fridge was appreciated however. Also.. the Queen mattress had soft sides which made it feel like you were falling out of bed... As I had it to myself.. I simply slept in middle but may have been a little uncomfortable for a couple.

Not expecting anything flash for a relatively “budget priced” room but what a pleasant surprise !! Had room 8 and thrilled to find a back patio with a lockable screen door which provided great air cross flow. Beds were very comfy and big rainwater shower head was first class !! Also chuffed to find a coffee pod machine and microwave for that early morning coffee hit before hitting the highway. Reception staff were friendly and informative and would stay there again in a heart beat👍👍👍

Location close to town can get food delivery. Plenty of room to park with our boat on. Quite and comfortable. The manager was very friendly and accomadating could not do enough for us. Even though they are doing a lot of upgrades the rooms were still clean abd pleasant. The shower was awesome

Bit busy late arfo to turn in to hotel but not really a problem would recommend this place especially if you have boat or trailer.

We had the family room, with 2 queen-size beds for 4 of us. The room is clean, tastefully decorated and well equipped. In general, it looks like it has been recently refurbished, with newish equipment and facilities. I liked that they have Chromecast-equipped TVs, which is handy for people attached to their Netflix playlist. Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The lady at reception was very friendly and helpful. Note that breakfast is only available as room service at present but rooms come equipped with a toaster and coffee machine.

The location by the main road means that it can get noisy if you get a bunch of hoons drag racing late at night like we did. However, the rest of the time, you don't really take notice of the traffic.

The room has been renovated tastefully and the towels folded into animals was a lovely touch. The lay out was good, and we had everything we needed. All instructions and information was easily available. It was a quiet area so we weren't disturbed.

It would be good to have a second sink to use for washing up, tea/coffee etc especially when the bathroom is occupied. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

They thought of everything…water ice and a few milks in fridge…also a microwave toaster and kettle …wine glasses ready to go…and espresso style coffee machine to boot Motion detection night light….all TV options available…shampoo conditioner … We had recently stayed in Europe in many locations ….very few had all of the above for much much higher fees
