Caravilla Motor Inn

The room was basic and very clean. Room was well equipped with refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, crockery, silverware (not plastic) ironing board, iron, etc. 2 bottles of water and milk were replenished every day. Two packets of tasty biscuits (aka cookies) were also replenished every day. The in room Continental breakfast was simple and good quality. Owner was very visible during my stay and was friendly and helpful. cleaning staff friendly and kept the room clean and tidy

The room had a small table with two chairs but there was no lighting. There was no place to sit down and use my laptop as it was too dark at the table

We were greeted with a warm welcome by Helen after a long day's drive. Our room was immaculately clean, the walls were recently painted, beds were super comfy and we had all the kitchen facilities we needed, including a microwave. Helen recommended a great Chinese takeaway, and gave us directions to a supermarket for supplies and to the coast for a morning beach walk. Although we could have easily walked into town, we were too tired/lazy! We stayed in room 27 with a queen and single bed. Great value for money and highly recommended.

Everything was amazing, the room was clean, comfortable and well stocked with little extras like cold bottles of water, biscuits with the tea and coffee. The beds were comfortable and the room was a great size to be comfortable with chairs for watching the tv and a dining table and chairs for meals, microwave, toaster, kettle and cups, plates, bowls and coffee cups, cutlery. The pool was clean and even though it was a bit on the chilly side due to the time of year we still got in! Thanks again, we will be back!

Breakfast opted for breakfast at nearby interesting Wingham, recommended in Carravilla’s excellent compendium. Did not have as single complaint, everything was complete, fastidiously clean, AND everything electrical and mechanical worked perfectly. The manager was warm and welcoming, and seemed very approachable if necessary, which wasn’t. Bed excellent and shower great. Best vanity taps In the World. Wife & I were simply blown away from this place. Nothing more to say, except tat this is the honest truth.

We came down to Taree to see a friend who is very ill, but also to look at a unit which I've decided to rent. I lived in Taree for over 20 years before moved to Queensland, just before Covid to be with my family, but I have decided to move back to Taree to spend some time with my friends. We were absolutely delighted with your Motel, and how comfortable it was. You have thought of every little thing which made our stay so easy, and we were able to eat in at night as it was too cold to eat out. I found the bed and pillows so comfortable, that I would like to buy some pillows if I'd known the brand. I will most definitely be booking my family from Sydney and Queensland in for a stay, when they come to visit me. I also will look forward to spending a few nights with you when I am waiting for the removal to happen later this month. Many thanks and Kind regards, Irene Whight

A very personable and obliging manager helped me check in around lunchtime which was a couple of hours before the usual check-in time. We had I arranged this due to public transport issues with Sydney rail coaches. Bed was very comfy, nice beach print above bed and mirror on wall that were stylish. I appreciated having a microwave and cutlery and it was a quiet room plus bottled water. Motel is close to shops, and river.

We spent a very comfortable night - grea bed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and although the room was a bit dated, there were many thoughtful touches - e.g. not only a microwave and toaster, but plates & cutlery, and a non slip mat for the shower. An easy walk to the town centre, but very quiet. We would happily stay again.

The hot water took a long time to come through the tap, but when it came, it was piping hot.

Even though there was no chef, Rita who I believe was the manager, provided us with a beautiful evening meal. At $15 per person it was certainly worth the money. Llandella delivered the meal to our room and it was very welcome after a hard day of driving. It was so good not to have to go out and search for a meal and the roast pork in onion gravy with potatoe and vegetables was delicious. Both Rita and Llandella were so friendly and helpful and we will definitely stay there again. That together with the comfortable room was just fabulous. From the six motels used on our holiday in NSW, this was defintely the best one by far.

There was nothing we didn't like. We felt very at home.

We stayed 3 nights - Location, staff and room were all great. It’s a short 5 min walk into town past some lower quality motels. We had a brilliant Italian at Cafe Giardino in town, and a fantastic ribs meal at the Grill room had everything you would need.walking the other way Staff were really helpful and provided pool towels for our swim. I’d definitely recommend them.

The staff were extremely caring and was able to address any of my complex requests, and just very kind. The room, although showing a little damage in walls and doors, other essential functions worked well. And the location and services provided was great. Though the staff is probably a big factor to the positive experience.
